Hi,

attached You find a screenshot of my new Gottlieb's Devil's Dare. Akiles asked me to recreate this pin using images, his friend Francisco666 used for his FP table. Francisco did a great job redrawing the complete playfield and the plastics set.

I reworked the playfield image and plastics a bit, where it was necessary for VPin (e.g. the holes for rollover wires and the drop targets have been added).

The hard part was to understand the solenoid sequences. For this Kevinleedrum pointed me towards the right direction with his work on Krull. Light triggered solenoids was the solution. I now have the table up and running. I will add some more screws and the lighting before the release. As usual, there will be an FS and a Desktop version availiable.

Regards

Michael

one question you have an upper flipper in the right top of the pin

where does the ball go after hitting that? other than that it looks great!

and please do include a desktop version since many of us (me anyhow)still use desktop monitors

Hi Faralos,

the ball is going to the left . . . :)   There are only the standup targets and droptargets, though. The passage is blocked by a gate and not accessible from that direction.

The desktop version will be released at the same time.

Michael

Nice one Michael, great and classic game, oh and faralos, can't believe you never played this one in the wild in it's day, fun machine the top flipper is there so you can directly hit those top targets.

Very much looking forward to this one.  I've gone looking for DD several times and wondered when, if ever, it would see the light of day.  Many thanks for working on this!

Yes! Thank you mfuegemann, you have made my day!

This is a very fun and mostly overlooked table.  The only table on my cab that I have both the FP and VP versions of.  The VP version really needs a graphics update.

:otvclap: Really excited to see this one getting some love. :otvclap:

Hi,

I am working on a B2S backglass based on the pre-production translite. So it will be more fantsy than real, but it is looking nice with the green imps.

I only have to find the Match light number and then it is ready to ship together with the table.

Michael

Hi,

I found out about the Match light no. It is the inverted Ball In Play light 0, so it was a bit difficult to send it over to the backglass. Now as it is done, I will upload the table(s) tonight.

Michael

Looks awesome!

Evidently Gottlieb knew something that Dante did not: the Devil is made of Rice Krispy Treats. Perhaps that was just lost in the original Italian :)

I look forward to playing this!
