All, I need your help.    While installing some new tables today, I did something to wreak by Physmod 5 table sound output.   I may have screwed up accidentally moving a folder or file around as I was drop and dragging files to there intended spot.    Physmod 5 Tables launch ok but no sound.    I even tired loading a table in raw Physmod 5 exe and playing a sound under the Sound Editor and no sound!!     I have tried to fix by getting a clean copy of Physmod 5 and replace the old one but still does not work.    I made sure the Sound was set like the Visual Pinball exe.   All my Visual Pinball and Future pinball tables load and sound is there.    I am pulling my hair out trying to figure out what I did to cause this.     I can't see anything in the file structure that would be causing this.    Why would visual pinball tables play sound but Physmod 5 tables don't.    Any ideas?    As always help is appreciated.

Does anybody else have a strange issue with volume increments in VP.PM5? I can raise it up and down just fine, but it's in huge chunks (like 15%) rather than the fine control normally offered by VP.

For reference, I've got recessed buttons hidden under the front of the cab for stuff like vol control, adding free credits (to subvert the coin slots -- there is a coin door and normal operator switches inside), closing the door (for some games that start with it open), etc. They're the de-facto way to adjust the volume on my cabs.

Anyway, of course, some tables' sweet spot ends up between these increments. So STTNG for example is either a bit too quiet or kinda too loud whenever the new release gets played, because you can't zero in to the normal range the cab audio is setup for

I actually mount the amp near the front of the cab (on a narrow shelf that bridges the back of the coin box - also has the volume controls for the secondary internal speakers, switches to turn feedback devices on/off, etc) so you can make discrete adjustments, but I prefer not to take it out of that 'perfect normal' for temporary fixes. Ya know?

// Thinking about it more, I suppose I could nip it at the rom level. Not like any table available in PM5 gets its normal VP version played anymore.

This is such a first world problem lol

so, moron here. Not sure what i did, but all sound for all tables under physmod5 is gone. Does not appear to be volume for individual tables, more of a global setting. I suspect its the green bar down the side thing, but don't remember how to pull that up.

Did you recently update some drivers?
it can be that the sounds are sent to a different audio output. You can check it in VP audio preferences preferences.

Thanks! That solved the problem. I have this micro keyboard that has the + and - buried under function keys, so not something I can just press to see if the green volume bar would come up. Figured it was that, but just couldn't remember what keys did that. Old
