Hallo Groni, super mod. Version!

- elasticity of the flippers is off the wall with 0.65 ! With 0.40-0.50 you can still control the ball from the kicker and have the "springy" feel to the flippers
- the plunger at the steps is really weak, I don't know why because it's the same one at the right side. If you pull it all the way back, you barely reach the second light at the steps. Maybe this is only on my system?
- main plunger (at the right) is quite strong, too much for my taste and really difficult skill shot
Things I really like:
- angle and full use of the screen offcourse, more to see of the table, closer to the play!
- nice nuance on the transparant ramps color, they are not so "in your face", maybe the lighting does this?
- physics feel is nice, although I got used to the JP table also. But ball movement is definitely a notch more real!
- slingshots are more natural!
Anyway, viele Dank schon wieder!

Did you know that "playing pinball" is called "flipperen" in Dutch? Now you know and may your life be enriched by this arcane knowledge....

Thanks for the mod Groni!

I'm not sure for the rest of the table, but Rudy's head seems "stretched" and not so natural like in JP's table...Is it because you changed the angle? Can you check it?

Thank you Groni biggrin.gif I like the "Megapin"-angle wink.gif

But the only thing that may be changed is the upper left flipper, it's supposed to be a bit shorter than the two regular flippers:

If you look in the manual you can also see that the upper flipper is a bit shorter.

Hey there

Thanks for all your Comments. Seems like i was a little fast with Releasing smile.gif

So this are the things I will fix today:

1. shorter upperleft Flipper
2. More Left Plunger Power
3. Less Right Plunger Power
4. Less Elasticity on the Flippers

And nope, Rudy is not stretched, i did nothing with the Head. Just some color correction, since JP´s moving Parts of the
Head had different color than the Head.

So all the People who don´t like the Angle, this is what it´s made for. Like I said, just for me, and as a Bonus for you.
Don´t like it? Use JP´s smile.gif

you can exactly change the angle back to the JP settings. I did nothing on that, just my own themed Backdrop.
I am no friend of Anglechange. Cause this 16:9 Tables are ugly. Everything looks out of Angle, when you switch a
4:3 Table to a 16:9 Table. Those People who like those Tables, they should build it from Scratch in 16:9, then
the Objects will look ok.

Also i love that Pro Pinball Angle. And not everybody have a Pinball Cab with Vertical LCD TV´s. I guess most People
use the Standard One Monitor Setup, or maybe a 2 Monitor Setup.

But it´s ok, i cannot reach everybody with my tables, and I don´t want to. I do them for me in first Case.

Well I sure like the changes, although the table seems to have gotten harder to play, but that's not a bad thing, keeps the challenge going!
Thanks Groni, you made my day by modding JP's excellent table. Is there any way how a noob like me can change the flipper settings/physics settings myself in JP tables that have not been modded (yet) by you? It's probably not as easy as cut 'n paste I reckon? Well I'm going to check out the TZ WIP thread now and then it's off to bed, no late night games for me yawn.gif

Well, it´s not that easy to make settings without knowledge of how objects play together. Every Table is different. I have a friend who owns an AFM. His settings are completley different as the Machine in the Bar in my Town. So everybody has his own feeling of how a table should be from the Setting. I try to find a good possible to play value closest to real Machines. So you will have to own some knowledge with real tables to do that adjustments by yourself. Otherwise you will have a totaly chaos wrong setting. But like i said, everybody have his own feeling about that.

I must say that when you two great guys announced you were no longer working together on tables it seemed a shame, because the results were so amazing from the start.

I fully understand why JP needs to work alone without the distractions of a partnership, it feels better when you control your own pace and deadlines. I'm pleased that that when he releases his work he allows you the chance to add your own special blend to the mix Groni.

We all benefit by having your combined talents on a table like this. Your mod is like icing on an already wonderful cake. Thanks to you both for your quality and continued generosity.

Great mod plays better, still I'd have to say the flipper strength to me seems a little unrealistic, even if it was a new out of box machine....

Thanks for the update Groni! Some constructive criticism:

Although the mod does play a bit better there's a few things that are way off from the main machine:

The kick out in the right bounces of the right flipper. In the real machine you can hold it pretty easily. Possibly the bounce on the flipper and/or the fact that the corner of the side rubber (I don't know what you call those tings) pushes the ball too fast.

The left plunger seems weak to me. Makes the extra ball easier to get than in the real machine.

Finally, I think you went too far in making it easy to hit Rudy. Its better than JP's physics where hitting Rudy is almost impossible, but still, most times I expect to go around the trap area, not hit Rudy.

Otherwise, thanks for the great work!

EDIT: I'm an idiot and didn't notice you just updated it to version 1.1. Ignore everything I said... Thanks for the update!!
