File Name: Addams Family Gold VP 9 Fix (PacDude)

File Submitter: eyes0fblue

File Submitted: 12 Aug 2014

File Category: VP/VPinMAME 9.x - MOD Tables

Author(s): PacDude
Manufacturer: Williams
Year: 1994
ROM: Link to ROM
Permission to MOD?: Yes, without approval

This is a version of PacDude's Addams Family Gold, modified to work with VP 9. When running this table previously with VP 9, the ball would get stuck at various parts of the table and would "buzz" when trying to drop from the ramps. I fixed these problems and widened the ramp entry to accommodate the larger ball. Ignore the warning when starting this table that warns you are trying to run the table in an older version of VP, as this is incorrect.

Note: Any table I mod and upload can be run with the lowest of equipment, even onboard graphics chipsets and will run with VP 9.15 on up. You do not need a high tech set up to run any of the tables I post. Ever.

yeah unfortunately you said that about the Dirty Harry pin too

and guess what it stutters here on my computer.

Not saying it ain't a nice table that it is, I just can't run it

so this one while also looking fantastic will probably stutter too

but I'll try it anyhow, what the heck

thanks for doing it and that lighting looks great!!

Both Dirty Harry and Addams Family were tested on a VERY low end pc that didnt even have a graphics card, running on a intel graphics chipset. i seriously doubt its because theyre too graphic intensive. try shutting off rendering. both tables run smoothly on a VERY LOW END pc.

flintstone computer? lol

lol i upgraded all our laptops and desktops in the house and used the old desktop as a home theater pc and pinball machine, using old wii controllers as a way to work the machines. its actually a sweet set up.

Thats GOT to be it. All my tables run perfect on a very low end PC,  re-approriated as a pinball machine and a home theater pc, it only has a intel chipset as its grpahics card. I also have a few newer pc's that have good graphics cards on them, no issues at all. My best suggestion would be to turn off graphic rendering.
