Version: RC1
Category: VP 8.x Recreations

Author(s): Eala Dubh Sidhe

Description:
Romless VP-only version.
I'd forgotten how good this one was for its time. Pretty faithful to toriginal thanks to close development support from Luvthatapex, and with better quality speech as well. A quick brush up with the physics, and it still holds up well to more current releases.

The clearer speech is very welcome indeed. As a few pinball books have pointed out, Zaccaria was making some great tables during the general decline of the early 80's. I never had the opportunity to play any back then, and your version of this one really shines. Just played a couple of games and I broke 6 mill for the first time. Glad to have this update Eala.

As a soccer fan and player myself, will have to try this one out. Thanks for all recreations you've uploaded yesterday. The 80's pinballs and recreations play great on my eeepc.

Another minor update: linked the two A-B-C banks together as in the real machine, and disabled the bumpers and slings during a TILT.

The clearer speech is probably how it is supposed to sound on the real machine and when the TMS5200 emulation is no longer broken in VpinMAME

The version with the ROMs and emulation seems quite more quiet than this one when it comes to the SFX.

Maybe can such VP-only ROMless versions with recorded samples of the original speech and SFX
of Farfalla and Pinball Champ '83 be an idea?

Still one of the best emulated pinballs ever Eala! I had this game for 4 years and all of the sounds and images are from my game. You did a wonderful job, and I'm still in awe! Thanks for the reminder of this gem.
