Hi,

I setup a simple plunger setup. The plunger releases a regular micro switch to create a key pressed event. If it pushes back directly on the conductor it creates the related key release event to shoot the ball in VP. I saw several setups like this in your builds. My setup is not reliable. After three attemps the plunger bend my conductor by his strong force, so that I must fold it back very often.

What can I do to reach a reliable setup? Do you've any ideas for me?

Here are some pics. Pulled plunger, aaaaaaaand...

baaaam - my switch conductor is deformed (after three attemps).

Thx,

Rasm

Or remount the switch so its perpendicular to the rod. Slamming into a microswitch will bend it.

make it opposite way - so that when you pull the plunger a ring on the top of the plunger presses the switch - when you release the plunger switch is released, it will not break anything.

Hahahaha, I began laughing as I read Tubular Inductive Proximity Sensor Approach Switch... (rocket science). But it's a serious and nice approach, I really like it - respect!

Aaaaaand this is absolutely genius. So simple and it works like a charm! Thank you very much.

Hahahaha ok ok ok you win the MacGyver award today that's clever. It's even more MacGyver because those aren't rubber bands, but stretch hair ties. And there's 2 of them tied together! Legendary
