Is there a list anywhere of cabinet builds? I am starting a new widebody build and i would love to look at some other peoples ideas. Thanks!!

Great work! What kind of DMD are you using? Are there any made now that don't need special power supplies?

I'll give you my 2 cents......

 

I originally had a Vishay LEE-128G032B Orange LED display in my cab but after only 2 months it developed a line of lit LEDs down the middle. It was still under warranty so Brad over at vpcabs took it back and I got a refund. I then started to read up on the plasma displays and decided to go that route (and I'm glad I did, much nicer display). The down part is I needed some extra hardware to power the new DMD. I would check out this thread:

More then enough info on Plasma/LED. If you can find the Orange LED version you only need 5V which you can tap off your PC power supply for. I'm running the APD-128G032 with Zebs HV Driver board currently.

 

Since your building a WB cab check out the Star Wars: Pinball Unleashed and Indiana Jones and the Pinball Crusade builds over at the HyperPin site (both great builds)
