Hi

firstly must say thank you for the great work you do to keep the pinball spirit alive. My pride and joy NBA Fastbreak Pinball reminds me of the good times.
When i open up your table in VP9 and play it the ball is slow and when i play it in VP8 it runs smooth as smooth.

Am I doing something wrong?

But anyway all tables i played are fantastic, great work ...

Cheers

Have you tried a different table in VP9? Do you have an ATI card?

Seams it is a not finding error by me wink.gif
Make in the table options - hardware rendering V. Save - Close VP9 - Start them new. Now it has the right speed.
But i get in this way no transparent ramp. ??? Same old problem as on TMNT sad.gif

I apologize if this should be in a different topic, but the DMD emulation is a little off for this game. For all I know, it could be the ROM. There is a second "tone" to the DMD graphics that is missing, as you can see in the attachment, which is a comparison to the real game (the potion looks empty on the emulated DMD). It's very noticeable during some of the animations. I checked Pistol Poker since it is also an Alvin G game from the same year, and it does not have this problem. Just thought I'd mention it, in case anyone is in a position to resolve this. It's not really a deal breaker for this game since the music alone is mesmerizing.

Did you try adjusting the settings of the 3 different tones of the DMD by pressing F1? I have to do this on virtually all tables or it looks like I have only 2 tones -- on and off and I get animations like the one you show.

Yeah, even with the intensity set to 100/75/20, there seems to be a missing channel, if that is the right word when it comes to DMD.

I had a look at this and I agree. Even with the same intensity settings as pistol poker, there is still a missing HUE.
Its almost like all of the channels need to be brighter.

My friend has this game and it's very fun and very late 80s with the catchy synth music. Great game.
Not sure what else we could try at the moment. think.gif

kickback does not seem to save the ball may need to be moved a bit.

Question for Destruk:

Is this something the VPinMame DEV team needs to fix?

This seems to be one under-rated table. You can see one incredible DMD and lightshow on this video.

Same here.

I had never heard of this machine previously. Neat.
