Star Gazer VP9

Version: 1.0.0
Category: VPinMAME 9.x Recreations

Author(s): TAB, Destruk, Plumb

Description:
4:3 VPM Table
Manufacturer: Stern Electronics, Incorporated, of Chicago, Illinois,
USA (1977-1984) [Trade Name: Stern]
Model Number: 127
MPU: Stern M-200 MPU
Type: Solid State Electronic (SS)
Production: 869 units (confirmed)
Serial Number Database: View at The Internet Pinball Serial Number Database (IPSND.net) (External site)
Theme: Horoscope - Astrology
Notable Features: Flippers (2), Pop Bumpers (3), 3-bank drop targets (3), Rollunder spinners (3), Stand-up targets (12, one for each Zodiac sign). There are no side lane flipper feeds. Instead, there are semi-circle concave scoops feeding each flipper. Hitting one of the drops on the top left bank will stop the vari-value lights, locking in a value for each spin of the adjacent spinner and an inverse (converse) value of knocking the rest of that bank of drops down.
Design by: Brian Poklacki
Notes: The flyer shows a playfield with a tassel painted on the leg of the girl near the right flipper, just above her knee. Some games show this tassel seemingly painted over. It is unknown to us how many were made of each type, or the reason for this difference.
Marketing Slogans: "Thou art gazing at the brightest star of all."

you do realize that post is four years old? but as far as I know no one ever redid it

to work in the newer revisions of vp9 nor made a FS pin from it

you can start with these revisions to it: Stargazer

Inclination-- 45

Field of View--  0

Layback--  0

XY Rotation-- 270

X Scale-- 2

Y Scale-- 2

X Offset  -300 (negative three hundred)

Y Offset-- 400

now these are generic for rotated play fields

as for tweaking it yer on yer own as I have a standard desktop monitor

I got these numbers from a fellow pinner for rotating a pin for a FS view on a rotated monitor

but give it a try then tweak it if you must for  a better image
