File Name: Haunted House VP916 Night MOD

File Submitter: teppotee

File Submitted: 18 Oct 2013

File Category: VP 9.x MOD Cabinet Tables (FULL SCREEN)

Author(s): JPsalas
rob046
teppotee (MOD)
Manufacturer: Gottlieb
Year: 1982
Permission to MOD?: Yes, with approval

Thanks to JP for allowing me to release this MOD. This is based on latest versions of JP's release (1.1.0) which includes the physics adjustments by rob046.

GI has been reworked with some additional alpha lighting as well. Bumper colors have also been changed. I also changed the layback settings to get a bit more perspective to the table. The original layback settings should work directly so if you prefer those -> simply copy the values from that release.

Please use VP916 builds for the best results. Have fun!

This table will be perfect for my Halloween themed layout.

Now through Halloween my cab will only be showing Scary, creepy or spooky tables since we have quite a few.

Thanks teppotee and all for this mood setting table.

Sorry about the missing sound in this release as well. It gets to your nerves when you start the table about a hundred times :) So I switched it off while testing. I just uploaded a new version where the sound is on by default.

I slept very well RipleYYY :) I have worked on these MOD's for quite a long time so there was no VP marathon over the last few days.

I often update most tables that I put to my cab with some small changes and these started that way too. I just kept adding small things here and there and in the end the MOD's started to seem worth releasing too. So I just decided to release them all at once.

This HH MOD was one of the quick ones (I have learned to do the GI quite fast nowadays) since I didn't update anything else but the lighting. So 99,8% of the thanks must still go to JP and others who worked on it before. Quite happy with the GI end result though :)

Hey Teppo! Great job on this. I really like the overall dark feel with the alpha lighting :)

Has anyone found a way to make ONLY the normal flippers flip with the normal flipper buttons, and ONLY the Bottom and upper pf flippers flip with the magna save buttons like in version VP912 v1.02 FS_Mod v5 ?

I would like to incorporate that feature into this script. I messed with it a little, and i can't find the exact equation per se.

Yes Aaron!

... but can't remember how I did it. Check the original FS version release thread, I think it was in there.

Failing that, I'll copy/paste my script.

yeah...i copied the script to where the magna save works with the under and top flippers, but i can still use the normal flippers too.

I'm trying to get it where the normal flipper buttons NEVER activiate the alternate flippers.

I'm finding this challenging...lmao.

If you find success, post the script please :) It'll save me time.
