File Name: Embryon_VP9.2_1.02_FS

File Submitter: ICPjuggla

File Submitted: 23 Sep 2013

File Category: VP 9.x Cabinet Tables (FULL SCREEN)

Author(s): ICPjuggla, Herweh and OldSkoolGamer
Manufacturer: Bally
Year: 1980
ROM: Link to ROM
Permission to MOD?: Yes, with approval

EMBRYON for VP9.2+
by ICPjuggla, Herweh and OldSkoolGamer
All Lighting/GI by OldSkoolGamer

Special thanks to Plumb for the starting playfield scan, to Francisco666 for plastics, to Hmueck for flipper textures and to Unclewilly for a metal wall texture.
Another special thanks to Pacdude for his version of Embryon with some great info about the lamp ids' mapping.

This is a 'from scratch' rebuild.

Table is saved with layer infos so for the best experience (and for pretty cool looking flasher) use a VP9.16 beta build or higher.

Thanks for and to:
- Alpha Ramp Plunger code by Koadic
- Fading Lamps code, flasher images and much more from JPSalas
- Some sound files and ideas from JimmyFingers
- Ball rolling code by JimmyFingers and/or Rascal
- B2B Collision code by Steely & Pinball Ken and Koadic
and to all I've forgotten here maybe.

The table features 'Customizable Options' at the top of the table script. You may select VPinMAME, UVP or B2S, DMD rotation, GI and/or Flashers on/off, Cabinet Sounds or Ball Size.

Have a lot fun.

thanks for another top notch release.  You and the team seem to really be cranking out many awesome tables.  Thanks for stepping it up, just when I was so sad that JP decided to sorta retire.

I noticed the Embryon in oldskoolgamer's signature before I saw the release, so I knew it was coming :)  Plays great on my cab.

Only minor problem that I have noticed, I had to enable the timer on the plunger in order for it to work the first time with an analog plunger.  Thanks.  I have never played this for real, I need to find one now.

Appreciate the kind words..

None of us have an analog plunger so I guess we just don't think to activate it.. If and when we do an update we will fix it... :-)

I will say this though JP is a hard act to follow. He is a top gun with table building and just down right wonderful person full of talent. Makes me feel great that we are mentioned in the same sentence as JP :)

I'm playing this table in my dark game room, the blue table lighting is making me squint a little, and then the flashers fire off in the center and I actually have to glance away it's so bright. It is just mind blowing that this is all done basically with a paint program and there are no real strobes involved.  Wow!

I must admit I was not too excited about this release thinking we already has a decent version of it already.  Boy was I way off!  You guys totally rock! The Dream Team scores again!

One question though, how and when do you use the flipper over by the plunger lane?  I never got it to work on the old table, I figured maybe it didn't work in that version.  I 'm a sub par player so I'm probably just not scoring enough points.

Glad your digging it..

I can't speak for the other two guys, but I think it's pretty safe to say we all had a lot of fun building this one, and a few cool ideas witch I feel paid off.. :-)

To activate the mini flipper light A & B then if the ball goes to the outline over the trigger the flipper will then be activated.. :-)

Thanks for the kind words, I'm enjoying every day being part of this team.

The red flipper is basically enabled when you get thru the two return lanes and lit "A" and "B". Now when the ball goes thru the right outlane the flipper is enabled (the red bulbs are blinking) but just for two or three seconds.

Sweet table guys.
Glad we have an excellent team producing tables.
Wish I had more time to continue with table building

Very nice and oh so tough! My swearing vocabulary is getting a workout. Makes the old version look really bad. Thank you!

I'm running out of adjectives to describe all these amazing releases...but I got to say...SUPOIB!!!  I showed some coworkers my virtual pin cab and they simply could not believe that tables of this type of quality were being done basically for free...at least monetary-wise.  Your time and skills are of course invaluable.  Anywho...thanks as always!  If someone else from the team needs a plunger, I'm wiling to donate as well.  Let me know.
