Very fun game and thanks for this.

Any idea on how to make the spinning disk's magnet stronger? Where in the script do I look for it and what changes could I make?

Thanks!

Set mDMag=New cvpmMagnet
mDMag.InitMagnet Magnet3,12
mDMag.GrabCenter=0

Change 12 to a higher number.

Thanks, that did the trick. I moved the value up to 40 and it holds the balls nicely the whole time the disk is spinning.

However somehow is did manage to disable the diverter magnet in the rear that stops the balls so they can load onto the spinning disk. Any ideas on what I did? I can still start Multiball by shooting the Mystery Scoop so I can live with it as is. It still loads 3 balls onto the disk. It's a real thrill when all the balls stay on the disk till it lets them go when it comes up to full speed! Bang! They go flying in all directions!

Thanks again!

It's only supposed to hold the balls on the disc when multiball is about to start. During normal play your magnet at 40 is too strong. You can change the magnet strength during a game.
12 was the required value for me on a properly leveled Ultrapin machine.

As for what broke the other magnet, compare the script with a new download or your backup of the table.

Humm, we may be talking about two different things but I don't think so. I've owned a real LIS pin and here's the way it worked on my game: The ball stay on the spinning disk for the whole while untill multiball should start and then the magnet lets them go all at once. It's the best part of the game. The sound builds and then there is a "boom" and they should all go flying in different directions. It's real exciting.

At 12 the magnet would only hold two balls, maybe three then they would come "unglued" well before the true release time. With a value ABOVE 40 the balls vibrate wildly and wont stick to the disk. 40 seems to hold them nicely for me till the proper time. I've got to add that I have rescaled this version to play on my full size, 3 monitor cabinet. My playfield monitor is a 42" HD TV. Maybe by doing that I changed the way the magnet works.

I'm a bit of a Nub but after working on rescaling of your table to Full Screen I think it plays pretty good. I've seen others rescale these Spanned tables and upload them to the Full Screen section. Do you think people would like this done with this rescaled table? What is the proper way to do that? Do I need your permission to proceed? I don't want to step on any toes here. I've also got a wheel logo and table shot for Hyperpin and a somewhat low res backglass for a three monitor system (it is a little better then the one on Flying Dutchman's site or the one in the Spanned Table file).

Thanks again, Dave

I'm just saying with a magnet strength of 12 it held all balls and released them for multiball on my machine. Perhaps a backglass with UVP/fullscreen is slowing down your computer forcing you to use a higher strength setting.
Anyway, ask TAB since he did graphics for the game and then ask Noah for upload permission and you're good to go.

Yep, could be. Anyway, thanks again.
