As a new member are there some unwritten limitations placed on how much I can DL? Yesterday was a day off and I was going a little crazy. Only because I'm amazed at some of the great work here. My desire to just grab a few of my favorite tables has blown way out. I'm having a blast trying all these! Some of the best looking ones aren't always the funnest to play. Some I haven't actually played on a real pin so it's hard to say with any accuracy, but they just don't feel right. From what little I've read, a lot of people seem to like the physmod5 tables. Maybe I am not setup right, or maybe the first table I tried: "24" (not from this site) was just a poor choice because I think it plays awful. This is one of those that I never played in real life but I highly doubt play is like that... The ball was faster than anything I've ever witnessed in real life LOL. I dunno, maybe I am just not a fan of newer tables. My preference leans more towards tables from around 87-99. I thank the heavens somebody somewhere was doing something to preserve these tables. As history has proven, many of them will eventually be lost... like gone forever! That is very unique in itself from a gaming perspective. I hope the amazing creators here continue to do, or teach others to do, the newer tables as well because in 20 years their creations could be all that's left of them. I guess I am getting way off topic in poor darquayle's thread but I did want to emphasize that I probably will be getting the platinum subscription here when funding permits me to do so. But not just to get something, but because... well because that's all I really have to give. My PhotoShop (or whatever you use) skills are: zero! My scripting skills: well, I know how to change to B2S.server! hahaha.

 

Anyway thanks for taking the time to respond Bob. From now on I'll just assume that screen means I've had my limit (or server is just busy?) and not post.

    I think you're allowed 5 downloads a day without a membership. It's worth it to pay up! I've been playing vp for 15.. Maybe more years.... Almost from the beginning. It's great. I played on a desktop with the keyboard for a long time but a few years ago I sprung for a Virtuapin cabinet. And that makes it even more fun. You referred to 24. Actually it plays pretty well. And looks great. Remember if you play a Physmod table you need to use the Physmod exe. I believe there are two versions of that table. Playing a Physmod table with 9.9 will result in lightning fast play   There are a lot of fun tables available. I have about 500. I recently went through them all a gave each table a rating from 1-10. Probably 200 or so are rated 8 or above   Just to name a few of my favs. 
Bram Stoker Dracula. Medieval madness (pm5). Attack from Mars. Star Trek Stern ( from the other site which by the way we "don't talk about here). But welcome aboard. 


Edit.l.was thinking about 24 and the speed. It might be the other way around. One way, you get lightning play. The other way you get "molasses" flippers.
