You have 7 digits rom in the rom in the folder?
the rom is called spaceinb.
if the F6 function does not work delete the file nvram in the nvram folder
delete the table and then reinstall it.
once this is done the F6 function should work
in the options DIP switches check 7 digits rom in the (bottom option)
these are the switches to be activated for the original game as the game room:
DIP6 on
DIP7 on
DIP8 on
DIP15 on
DIP21 on
DIP22 on
DIP23 on
DIP24 on
DIP27 on
DIP28 on
DIP29 on
DIP30 on
all other off
this configuration respects the original, the sounds and the game system.
not need to change anything in the script because the constants are already prepared for all 2 rom (standard = "spaceinv") (7 digits = "spaceinb")
NB this backglass only works properly with the rom 7 digits (spaceinb)
if you do not have the rom 7 digits can download it in the rom in the
Best Regards TT.

First, nice back glass.

I have followed your instructions. I have both Roms in my Roms folder. I deleted two files from the nvrams folder. I deleted that Spaceinvader vpt. file. Then downloaded a new  table and the direct B2S back glass.

I installed the newly downloaded table, set the script to access the back glass and played it. The back glass works very good. However, I cannot do the F6 function.  I looked inside the nvrams folder and now there is only one nvram file named "spaceinv". A new 7 digit "spaceinb" file has not been generated.

Any ideas what I did wrong?

Does the 7-digit nvram file have to be there for F6 to work?

How do I get the game to generate a new 7 digit nvram file?

THank you.

Change in Table Script from False to True (line704):

sub SpaceInvadersSetOptions

If SpaceInvadersOptions And cOptManual   Then : FullDips   = True   : Else : FullDips    = True : End If
  End Sub

Thank you. That fixed the problem.  The game seems to play better.

That is a beautiful back glass.

Now, I just need out figure why the credits and ball in play are not in the correct position.
