Hello

I tried this version of ledcontrol.vbs and my stutter in tables like World Cup Soccer 94 & Cirquis Voltaire was gone when using Led-Wiz with PWM Flashers.

I use Windows 7 x64 Professional and VPinball.exe rev 445 from Koadics signature.

Maybe it will help others to.

I installed you ledcontrol.vbs. I tried it e.g. with Starwars Trilogy and indeed stutter on this table disappeared.

What have you changed or what is the source of this file?

I am running XP 32 bit also with VPinball.exe Rev 445.

Thanks for this hint!

I got the tip from a topic at hyperspin from RandyT

this on line 386:

Public Sub ResetLedWiz()
	LedControl.Command ="PBA:48,48,48,48,48,48,48,48,48,48,48,48,48,48,48,48,48,48,48,48,48,48,48,48,48,48,48,48,48,48,48,48"
End Sub

is changed to this:

Public Sub ResetLedWiz()
	LedControl.FastCom=True
	LedControl.Command ="PBA:48,48,48,48,48,48,48,48,48,48,48,48,48,48,48,48,48,48,48,48,48,48,48,48,48,48,48,48,48,48,48,48"
End Sub

When downloaded were do i open it and does it work in vp8

This file is used when you have and led-wiz connected to your computer and is should be copied to your table directory, don't know if it works in vp8 but it should.

Huh, certainly an easy enough fix to try. I remember reading that thread but it didn't occur to me to try it myself, so good catch. I don't have any real stutter issues myself outside of UVP, but I'll check it out anyways.

Quick question.  Anyone know why just that one little update now removes the intensity ability for the shaker motors?  The old vile allowed me to adjust the intensity and pulse on my shaker motor.  With this it's all full speed now.  This VBS file really helps a lot but I've got to figure out how to get my adjustibility back as right now it shakes the floor around my cab now.  It's just to much so I had to revert back :-(

I can confirm that, with Visual Pinball 9.2.1 on 06/24/2014, adding the LedControl.FastCom=True line fixed the performance problems I was having with my LED-WIZ kit.

This is under Windows 7.

It went from stuttery and worrisome whenever a bumper thumped or an LED flashed to VERY SMOOTH.  My concerns about LED-WIZ performance have been addressed.

Thanks, ressof!

The whole ledwiz performance issues have been solved by the DOF framework:

so all tricks mentioned above are obsolete.
