File Name: Star Wars Trilogy VP915 FS
File Submitter: jpsalas
File Submitted: 10 Feb 2013
File Category: VP 9.x Cabinet Tables (FULL SCREEN)
Author(s): jpsalas
Manufacturer: Sega
Year: 1997
Permission to MOD?: No

Based on the Sega table from 1997.
Thanks to:
- Akiles for taking pictures of the real machine
- Grizz for making the playfield and cleaning up the plastics. And also for his flashers.
- ArcadeMaximus for the X-Wing 3D model
- Thank to Magnox, Subzero and wtiger for the old table.
- And of course toxie & koadic for their work optimizing the VP9

This table needs VP915 which is not released yet, this means you need the latest VP914 rev 434 or newer (get it from koadic signature). This because the table uses big images and many primitives and in this VP version those primitives are very much optimized (the table won't even load in an older VP!)

These are my tables, sorted by date, all them playable with VPX 7 or newer:

vp.jpg

After 18 years making tables, it is time to take a rest and let new authors do their thing.

I guess at last I'll play some more pinball :). But I'm sure I'll make some table updates from time to time :)

Never seen this game in real life before, played a few minutes of it and it is tough!  For you guys with cabinets, what button will you use for FIRE! - extra ball?

Just played two games, very nice table. Indeed pretty tough, but I just checked a video on youtube and it seems to be a drainer IRL as well :)

No stutter on this table but I haven't had a multiball yet.

Thanks to all involved for this brilliantly recreated table!

On a technical note: is it just my PC, or doesn't the Tie bomber stop wiggeling once it moved once? Just ever so slightly (maybe one pixel).

Amazing job JP and Arcadiusmaximum! Unbelievable. And that new xwing model ahh....brilliant!

One question: When the multiball starts and you load the xwing is it normal than you can only shoot when its turn(so after its go down and come up) ?

Or something wrong with my system ?

Thank you again guys!

Ledwiz config done. Check it over at Pixels tool here
********** config coming up as soon as the ROM is added.

Unfortunately there is a small issue with flashers 29-30-31-32. ROM does send the correct commands, but Ledwiz doesn't seem to pick them up. I'll have check further on how they are controlled through the script.
