If you read through the comments on that thread it may get you closer to what you need. I followed all the instructions and it worked. I used a program called mp3tag to remove the IDtags and named them to match exactly what's in the editor. I can't verify what it was that I did that made it work, but after following all the suggestions in the thread, it did actually function. The only thing that makes me sad is that they never implemented a way for the song to continue playing after the ball drain and AC/DC has such long intros that just as you're really starting to bob your head and get into the song an outlane drain starts it over....guess I need better pinball skills, heh. Good luck!

I hear ya. I went to a favorite place whom shall remain nameless and got them all. That's why I had to remove the tags too. If you manage to get that done, open up the script and make sure your files are named exactly the same or they won't play.

Make sure your music is in 128 bit. It won't work otherwise

Make sure the music is in your 'music' folder in your visual pinball folder. If you don't have a music folder in there, simply create one

And ease up on the caps

Looks like some of the music is not properly named, or in the right folder

Go into the script in your table. You should see something that looks like this:

TrackFilename(1)="ACDC - Back In Black.mp3"  'SPINNER
TrackFilename(2)="ACDC - Givin The Dog A Bone.mp3"  'ALBUMS
TrackFilename(3)="ACDC - Hells Bells.mp3"  'POPS
TrackFilename(4)="ACDC - Let Me Put My Love Into You.mp3"  'RAMPS
TrackFilename(5)="ACDC - Thunderstruck.mp3"  'DROPS
TrackFilename(6)="ACDC - Touch Too Much.mp3"  'STANDUPS
TrackFilename(7)="ACDC - Whole Lotta Rosie.mp3"  'ORBITS (outer)
TrackFilename(8)="ACDC - You Shook Me All Night Long.mp3"   'SUPER LOOPS (inner)
TrackFilename(9)="ACDC - Cold Hearted Man.mp3" 'COMBOS
TrackFilename(10)="ACDC - Guns For Hire.mp3"  'MINIS
TrackFilename(11)="ACDC - Have A Drink On Me.mp3"  'FOLLOW
TrackFilename(12)="ACDC - Hell Ain't A Bad Place To Be.mp3" 'FRENZY

' ** WIZARD MODES **
TrackFilename(13)="ACDC - Highway To Hell.mp3"   'Mini Wizard Mode
TrackFilename(14)="ACDC - TNT.mp3"   'Final Wizard Mode

' ** MULTIBALLS **
TrackFilename(15)="ACDC - Let There Be Rock.mp3" '2 Ball Multiball #1 Bootleg
TrackFilename(16)="ACDC - Rock N Roll Train.mp3"     '2 Ball Multiball #2 Theatrical
TrackFilename(17)="ACDC - If You Want Blood (You've Got It).mp3"   '3 Ball Multiball #3 Festival
TrackFilename(18)="ACDC - War Machine.mp3"   '3 Ball Multiball #4 World Tour

As you can see there should be 18 music files (I think you only had 13 of them)

The easiest way to do it is copy each music filename and rename your music files by pasting to ensure they match EX. Copy the name 'ACDC - Back In Black' from the script and then RENAME the file you have

after you have done that, copy all of these music files and place them in this folder:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Visual Pinball\Music

If you do not have a "music" folder in your Visual Pinball folder, just create a new one in there and name it Music

Hopefully this works and you can finally get to playing!!

I have my songs in visial pinball / music, name correctly, I am back here to see if you need DWjukebox installed in order to play, I will check 128 bit and copy to pinmame/ samples

You do not need DWjukebox.

They do however need to be in 128 bit, and need to be in your 'music' folder, not samples

The MP3 cant have any MP3 tags so be sure to check for tags if you still have an issue playing a MP3 in VP.

Need some help from the experts pertaining to the music in ACDC and 311.  Black Sabbath, Grateful Dead, Beatles and Rush all work fine, but not ACDC and 311.  311 actually worked the first time it loaded, but not anymore.  All the music is named appropriately and in the correct folder.  I ran MP3eraser.  I am at a loss as to the next step.  Compared the scripts and can't see any issues.  Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.  My daughter downloaded all the ACDC, 311, and Grateful Dead MP3's for me.  The songs play when you click on them in the music folder, but not in the table.

OK, even stranger now.  Some songs play, some don't.  Again checked all titles against script, everything seems good.  Removed all the details from the MP3 songs in case that was an issue, but didn't improve anything.
