Hi all,
Do you know why non DMD full screen pinball tables are rare ? I would love to play Quick Silver, Vector, X&O full screen. Not enough experience to create tables yet .

Because desktop tables have been around for like 13 years. FS only a few years. Many MANY recreations were created in the early to mid 2000's. Some are even VPM conversions from VP tables made before PinMame could even emulate them. Also the tables you mention just aren't very popular, people probably don't care as much about re-doing them or updating them. Or... quite simply maybe better resources don't exist for the tables to make them much better than they are now. Like maybe no good stripped PF pics for those tables, or plastic scans.
The bar is raised on table making these days, so you really need great resources to make a table that is up to par with other releases. though if you can redraw some art for these tables, or get somebody to do it, then I bet they will get made much quicker. Authors tend to want to build tables that good resources exist for.
Also, those tables are pretty easy to convert to FS. It can be done in mere seconds.

Seconds?? Is there a guide on here on how to do it? I wouldn't mind learning how to do
Keep in mind that I don't even play FS but I know how to do this simply because I've done it a few times for table releases. So how hard can it be? Its all in the backdrop settings. Its pretty much that simple. rotation 270, then whatever your preferences are for FS, simply add them. Like maybe I would do 1 inclination, 40 FOV, 80 layback. Tip, you don't need to use inclination at all, but I found that at least having 0.1 will reduce the chance for visual glitches. Now at this point, its just a matter of tweaking x & y scale values.
Once you've converted a few tables, you already have a good idea of where these should be, roughly. It does differ from table to table a little, but find settings that get you close & tweak from there. Just look at a few other tables to get an idea. Then what I do here to make this go much faster is change the table name in the editor, then I tweak x & y scale while testing in the player. The different table name makes the table load instantly, so you aren't waiting to test your values. Once you get them where you want, change the name back. Also temporarily cutting out the code will achieve this. I do this sort of thing any time I'm visually adjusting something with trial & error.
So really, the main thing that might take a minute here is x/y scale values, but like I said even that gets pretty fast to do once you do a few. FS to desktop conversions can sometimes truly take seconds. Desktop to FS I guess I should say might take couple minutes.
Some FS user should be the one to make a quick guide, not me, but I don't mind trying to help anyways.

i can help you with that.
this is my opinion.
for converting to FS in "backdrop"---->dont mess with FOV and layback untill you get better
in my opinion FOV and layback are similar.
in "backdrop" start here:
FOV 0
rotate 270
x scale 2---- expands the top and bottom equally
y 2----expands sides equally
x -400 moves left/right
y 400 moves up/down
try not to get any overlap off the screen.
it might create some video problems on the PF monitor.
