Thank you so much for the desktop of this :)
I have the rom, nvram & table it the right place but I am getting a gprom checksum-9944 on the dmd, on start up....????
I am sorry but do not know what that is. I can insert coins in it & the plunger moves but I can not get the table to start. Neither my controller or keyboard will start the game. I searched the forums for an answer but there was not one, on the gprom checksum-9944 that shows up on the dmd screen. Any ideas?
Btw, the table looks GREAT :) just cant start it after coins inserted.
Thanks for any help :)

The "GPROM checksum-99AA" (slightly italic, looks like a 4) message is totally normal. I saw that it a gazzillion times. ;)

When you use the nvram from the Getting Started menu, the table should start with 4 credits. Pressing "1" should start the game. How many credits does your DMD show?

right now it shows 5 credits. That is the nvram I used. Pressing "1" does not start table already tried that.
ok I had thought that gprom checksum was the problem.
thx again :)

VP seems to have one problem after the other...
When you press/hold 7 a short time, does the test mode at least start?

The manual says switch 4 is the start button. Posted Image

So says the table script.
Const swStartButton =4

Nothing else i can do i'm afraid?!

You could doublecheck your VBscripts, your vpinmame version, make sure you use stargat4 as rom, extract the nvram again, ... restart your PC, .... .... beside that i'm quite out of ideas.

I have the vpinmame ver 2.5.
Thanks again hmueck for ALL the help & a great table :)
I got it fixed, this is what I had to do. Dont know why since it seems the others on desktop got it to play w/ no problems.

I pushed "7" & went into game adjustments, then to credit button loads, then to factory settings, then switched the coin meter "on". It works now :)
The coin meter had been set on the "off"

got me ;) but it is good to go now. Maybe just a ghost in the vp machine :).
thanks again for everything.........
