The ball gets stuck on the left ramp.
The same thing happens with the original version of Destruk.
The Ramp10 is attached to the edge of the table, this and Win Xp are the cause of the problem , in my case.
Moving the Ramp10 of a bit to the right, the problem disappears.

Thanks

Max

In all my playtesting that never happened, and then it happened once yesterday on my work PC... I guess you're right about it being an XP thing. I'll fix that soon and also normalize the songs so the music level doesn't have to be adjusted. Thanks Max.

Actually, I have win 7 and it happened on me too. Also there were no playfield pics, but I will look into adjusting the ramp though.
It does play great other than that stuff.

Hey! Nice table smile.gif
I played for a while, but I did not encounter a single bug. But I will report if I encounter any bugs wink.gif

If you update the sometime in the future, could you repaint the edge of the apron?
Unless it's intended to have a green edge on the apron(?)

Thanks TuNk77!

I know exactly where I went wrong there - I exported that image incorrectly. I did that early in the process and was still figuring things out. It's an easy fix though.

If anyone spots anything else let me know. I'll be getting to these things soon and attempt a FS version.

What is your OS 32 or 64 bit ?
Just to see if it's a problem of system 32 or 64 bit.
My Xp is 32 bit.

Hey Max,
So far this has only happened to me once and I can't seem to duplicate it, so I'm not sure how far I need to move the ramp. If I move the ramp to the right using the right-arrow key, do you think 3 key presses will be enough?

Do you mean that the playfield itself isn't showing up? If that's the case I would guess you either need to turn on "hardware device rendering" or limit texture dimensions to 1024. Let me know if that isn't the problem.

I think 5 units would be enough - as someone mentioned making the ramp 65 width fixed it for them which would be an extra 2.5 units per side. - it's real close to the edge of the table, so maybe I should update the first template file so future tables won't need to deal with it.
I've never seen the ball get stuck there in my own testing. If you do move the ramp over, make sure the top and bottom ends line up with the other ramps/walls so you don't have a 'bump' where they connect.

Shooby Doo: I tried both hardware device rendering and limiting texture dimensions and it worked like a charm. Thank you for your help.

I moved only the last point of the curve to the right of 1 (31 instead of 30 , x-axis).
To create the problem, maybe just put a wall to the right of the ramp that forces the ball to stay close to the edge of the table.
Obviously, the wall must allow the passage of the ball, if the ramp is 60 wide, the wall must be large 9.
Putting a wall to the left of the ramp that starts from 0 to 1(x-axis), the problem should disappear.

Yesterday when I was playing it wouldn't happen, and today it did it 4 times in a row. I did as you suggested and moved the control point to 31 and all seems fine smile.gif . Thanks again Max.

I've got the apron fixed too, so I should have this updated before long.

Please remove the mp3's from the upload. We really don't need to be distributing these here.

As I mentioned in the Primus topic, simply add a playlist and the filenames associated with the tracks in the script. People will have no problem finding the music somewhere online.

sad.gif I've edited these songs to go with the table, they have intros and outros removed and sections that loop and work much better in a game. I understand where you're coming from though. They won't be in the next version.

That's not to say you can't have the edited tracks somewhere else - mediashare, dropbox, rapidshare, etc...

So it would be OK to share the link in the release thread? (I would ask in a PM but I think it's good for everyone who's modding this template to know smile.gif )

why is it then okay to have wav music files in a pin but not mp3's?
in most of my pins I use wav files with no problems
but now you say we can't use mp3's or does that now apply to wav files too?
