I'm sure there will be at least one bug that got through the gauntlet... In addition to the "You're not getting in for under a quarter" when the price card says $1/play. smile.gif

I'm quite impressed at the amount of thought and effort that's gone into this project. Nice work Destruk, JP, and everyone who helped.

I've only tried it quickly without any mp3s, but I did notice

- the lane change order seems weird - goes A-L-B-M-S- and then over to U
- could you use some string functions to truncate the file extension (.mp3) on the display? seems distracting and unecessary
- default plunger?

From a subjective standpoint, the geometry of the flippers and slings seemed weird to me right away, but maybe that's just the widebody thing. I did seem to get used to it quickly. The ball seems really small/roomy on the ramps, but again, probably the same thing.

I'm looking forward to checking it out some more, and maybe doing a Rush re-skin to make The Loafer eternally grateful...

Thanks for the feedback.
Yes, the lane change order is from left to right and right to left across the table. So U-A-L-B-M-S is as intended. Perhaps the A should have been placed on the left inlane, and then LBU for the rollovers and then MS for the right inlanes. It doesn't bother me while playing though since I played a bit of Transformers with their odd left two/right two cycling. smile.gif You could move the textbox off the backdrop view - that's easiest if it's distracting.

Nice Table/project thank you Destruct & Team.

It challenges me to mod it and to be creative, because I am music-addicted-fanatic!
The problem is, I'm a newbie...
Since the table is angleindependent I've managed to make it fullscreen and it works very well,
but I have no idea, how to rotate and how to edit the DMD's i.e. another Bandname, according to the new Music.
I would like to make a "Pocupine Tree" table with a new playfieldimage ect..

Any chance to have a fullscreen version of it or any help to manage the DMD rotation problem - please.

Thank you

and best regards

From Olive, Hamburg, Germany

P.S. Great community here and my speechless admiration to all table creators!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry for my fast shoot!!! Just found the FS version whistle.gif

What a fantastic idea.....

Thanks to all involved, I'll look forward to editing some music tracks.

Where do we stand with sharing finished mods?
I would have thought there were music copyright problems when it comes to sharing, and if so, how come we have Bob's great Beatles table on the site?

Thanks again

Use any script you wish. smile.gif
If you could keep the music separate from the hosted table files it'd be easier on the site bandwidth and hosting costs. - ie use rapidshare or some other method to host the music.

I wasn't talking about getting rid of the display, just the file extension in the text on the display

Can you do string functions like this in VP?
FilenameToDisplay = Left(SongName,Len(SongName)-4)

Yeah you can do that, you could also eliminate the band name by splitting/tokenizing the string on the "-" character, or you could use a different variable to hold a separate displayed name, or make the text font size bigger so it crops off anything that doesn't fit. The table will also handle WMA files if WMA plays on your computer - automatically.

right, but that's probably easier to fix by just changing the filenames, but removing the file extensions in the names isn't an option.

Anyway, i didn't want to get hung up on this point, it was just a thought of how to make the presentation cleaner.

My main point is nice work!

hmm..interesting idea. I just renamed the music files without the .mp3 extension, and removed the .mp3 from the script and the songs play fine.

Updated to 1.0.1 -
The black.bmp file was changed to RGB 8/8/8 to ensure the hurryup lights blinked and turned off appropriately after being moved to a raised wall surface. (Thanks Pinuck)
The lock lamps are correctly restored now for each player when needed.
Track highscore displays changed to the mode name, rather than the track number (Thanks Pinuck) - This should make them more intuitive for players to relate.
The two walls causing collision issues on some systems have collidable disabled now.

I'd consider this 'final' and 'complete', but if you do find another bug please feel free to let me know.

Thank you very much for the table guys smile.gif

But, I encountered a problem with the left ramp:

The ball will get stuck there all the time, but I resolved the problem by setting the ramp width to 65

Updated - thanks to Kiwi for fixing the left ramp layout issue. - Tunk's solution fixes it too, but then the ramp goes outside the table dimensions a little, so I went with Kiwi's wall fix.
