Awesome release Rosve but for some reason iam getting ball stutter on this release when the sligshot lamps are flashing.

Is this an intense table

I have an I7 920 3g ram and a gtx 560 running 275 drivers. Running Win xp 32 sp3

Iam running 3 screens and have no problem running any of your B2s but for some reason the star trek and wars seem to be a problem.

No issues running the FS ver of SWars

Any Ideas

Just for feedback

The Star Wars table table is built the same way as BTTF (and most of jp's tables). I don't think it is very heavy on the PC. It's running perfectly smooth for me.

I have a cheap PC off the shelf in my cab: Pentium 5400 2.7GHz, 4Mb, GeForce GT220, Win7.
Works well with most tables, slight micro stutter with UVP when there are too many alpha ramps.

Super fast reply Roger

the stutter just seems to be when there is a lot of backglass animation mainly when the ball returns down the right Right ramp.

Oh well looks like i got a job on trying to figure out why iam having bother only on these startrek and wars.

Maybe its a sifi thing lol

I7 (and i5) is using hyperthreading. From what I have heard, it can have some bad influence on the performance for some games.
Could be worth to try and disable HT.

Is the AMD Quadcore enable/disable the same type of thing?
Did a bit of reading on it and I don't think it is quite the same thing.

Thanks for this neaw release/update but i have a question. What's the real differnce between the UVP and the B2S? The B2S look awesome but we can't change our backglass...I mean on the Hyperpin forum ther is a topic with High res backglass and in B2S table the backglass image was contain ont the .exe

hav we to dezipp the exe, change the picture and recompress it if we want changing the backglass file?

Thx a lot.

(This table is one of my favourite with Tommy \o/)

No you can't simply replace the picture, there's a lot more to it than that.
The pictures in my B2S backglasses are hires, usually 1600*1250. A picture with a resolution like 2500*1900 will not be displayed any better on most monitors. The only thing it will do is consume a lot of rescources, both memory and cpu.

Awesome work, looks and plays great. I just wanted to throw it out there again about the switch in the handle of this game. I mentioned it in the original build thread by JP but thought I'd throw it out there again. I have owned the real version of this machine three times and there is a switch in the handle of the game. When you hear the voice call out "Death Star approaching" if you pull the handle up or down (depending on where it is currently parked) the Death Star target will open, giving you the opportunity to shoot the DS and start multiball even if it isn't the final ball (it will do it regardless of the ball number). This switch doesn't seem to be accounted for in the VP builds as far as I can tell.
Anyway, once again great version, and didn't mean to hijack your thread just wanted to mention it again in case anyone can figure out how to incorporate that feature into this table at some point.

Thanks JP and Rosve -- fabulous job!

Win29671, I never played a real one of these -- I didn't realize there is some kind of handle on it. Is the handle incorporated in VP at all, even though the switch isn't?

The handle is on the front of the machine, it is shaped like a "T", it has buttons on either side of the horizontal part. These are the buttons that launch the ball, also you push them when you battle the stormtoopers and are on the speeder. The handle also moves up and down, like the HS2 gear shifter, and the switch inside the handle is triggered when it is moved up and down. This is the switch that you can trigger when it says "Death Star approaching" - you throw the handle up or down immediately after that is said and the DS door will open. I've done it many, many times on the real DESW machines I owned.
