Monster Bash - v1.1 (Jive's mod)

Version: 1.1
Category: VP/VPinMAME 8.x - MOD Tables

Author(s): Tom S, Fuseball, Richard M, Jive

Description:
Important improvements of my version 1.0, debugs, and solved problems
Thanks to a warning coming from Destruk, telling me that this table has an automatic launching system, and not a manual one, I put one more time my nose on it, and...

Mod v1.1 by Jive, April 01, 2009
==============
- Table slope from 6 to 8 (the ball wasn't very realistic, and the table was too much easy)
- Debug coming from Destruk, warning me about this important point :The plunger is NOT manual on the pinball : it's an electronic mechanism which is launching the ball. So, I changed the way the ball is launched, and modified its area, graphically.
- Cache Ramp improved above the right bumper
- Cache mummy's coffin improved
- Ramp8 : sides changed from ImageModWrap to imageModWorld ==> no more hideous black points
- The ball was appearing rolling above a part of the apron when falling toward the drain ==> solved !
- The ball was appearing rolling above a part of the left violet dome ==> solved !
- The ball was appearing rolling above a part of the left side of the mummy's coffin ==> solved !
- Right side of the Drac's coffin improved
- Now, the ball is no more rolling down like a fury in the outlanes (the speed is controlled)
- Walls anti ball through flippers increased in length (I add to experiment one more time this tedious bug!!!)
- Scoop dent improved again. Now, the feeling that the ball is falling within a hole is real.
- Right ramp redesigned, and the picture applied on its right part improved again. The right bumper is now more hidden, and no more overlying the left part of the ramp
- New flashing picture for the extra ball ("Alive again") : I disliked the hideous flashing color. Now, it's the whole picture which is flashing (like the lying Frankenstein)
- Some walls not needed anymore removed (they were hiding Bride, the scientist and Drac, in older versions)
- Left ramp improved in term of design and gameplay
- Violet domes pictures resized and moved a little bit
- Orange stick with white rubbers added on the left of the right ramp (it's stopping the ball to fall down when coming from the left ramp and traveling toward the right one)
- The wall "Anti-bug" : one time, I had the ball blocked around this area !!!
- The wall "drac18" was forgotten somewhere on the playfield, but not where it should be... LOOOOL !!! Nobody noticed it ?!?
- "Shoot again" picture is now flashing UNTIL you lose the ball, remembering you that you won a ball, waiting you.
- The 2 series of 4 lamps for the "Full Moon Fever" were wrongly designed and the colors were inverted ==> solved ! (plus the text added, thus it's not noticeable...)
- I solved (with a trick of mine) the problem of the horrible picture of Igor, perfectly rendered when the spinner is spinning, but hideous when stopped.

I get a "line: 1069 Expected End" error when i run the table.

and the script message where the error is, is very funny.

More important than anything else:
I solved (lol) the tedious bug of the ball passing through the flippers.

In fact, there is a bug in the engine, and, for now, we HAVE to change the values (the settings) for the flippers, accordingly to the one experimented for Indiana Jones v2.7 and AFM v2.9. I put those values for MB v1.1 and... No more ball passing through (thus, they were a lot)!!!!

Speed = 0,2
Strength = 0,9
Elasticity = 0,35

The other values are for nothing in the bug (apparently)

Shit !!! Again ?!?
Why this bug of the engine corrupting the scripts while saving a table ???????

Ok, I upload the table again, with the bug corrected

Nice High Scores there Jive. I can't even get those scores if I take the glass of my machines and move the ball around. smile.gif
Hey what frontend is that? I like how it shows your high scores.

I don't understand your question, since there is its name on top of the screen...

This score was obtained with my version 1.1
I can assure that this table is fully playable and very smooth, without stuttering, even when 5 balls are bouncing everywhere at the same time.
