Theatre of Magic (Jamin 1.0)

Version: 1.0.0
Category: VPinMAME 8.x Recreations

Author(s): Jamin

Description:
4:3 VPM Table

Thought I'd try a table I hadn't attempted before. Many thanks to Fuseball/Dorsola/Pacdude for their work on the trunk handler. I tried making it with its own trunk mech handler but it didn't seem to want to cooperate even though I thought I had it setup correctly and experimented with various switch locations on different positions...so after struggling with that a while I decided to incorporate what previous authors had done a had it handlemech.

Still things I want to do
Fidget with the right loop more...its makable but bounces around a bit if your shot is a bit off.
Mirror effect. Hadn't gotten into making it but was getting burnt out a bit so it will be in a future update.
Just noticed that I put the wrong Light 58 (leading to captive ball) needs to be more toward the redside of orange. I'll change that and put that in with the mirror effect update.
Something i wasn't too sure on...did it let out a vanished ball during multiball to where you'd have 4ball multiball? Couldn't remember if it did that or not.
Green light on the trunk
Also would like to cover more areas where the ball is in front of certain parts of reels and get rid of some black lines that appear on some reels.

Hope you enjoy this release of Theatre of Magic.

Why is that will all 4 different versions of this table that I have, ALL the DMD's are sideways? Not all 4 are Vp9 I am sure.

Btw, is this a brand spankin' new table that you've made? It seems like you come out with a new one every few days. I'm not complaining, just wondering. You're not only modding these are you? This table is gorgeous and plays pretty well, Im gonna have to spend some more time with it. Very nice

@Wangho

The reason for the sideways DMD: when you play the 16:9 vp9 version it rotates the DMD. It must change a REG. key or something because when you load up any version of that table in vp8 the DMD remains sideways.

I had to change the script in the 16:9 version to get back to normal.

Goddamn awesome, Jamin. I didn't even get done playing enough of your Monster Bash update, not to mention the new Hook!

Thanks Jamin for making your last few tables in wide view as I believe this is the optimal angle for playing pinball on the PC (IMO). I hope you'll consider updating the rest of your previous releases in wide view angle as well. Keep up the great work and hope to see more from you. MIKE
