Still get an error message, 'could not create texture offscreen surface' i only ever get this error message with your tables no other. I have a ATI 6970 2GB card, so theres no way it due to my gfx card not being up to the task. Any ideas?

isnt a video card memory problem. The problem is VP is x32 and not x64 and VP cant handle more than 2gb memory, i use ntcore 4gb patch to solve this issue. This error will be fixed if compile an x64 version of VP

I got this same error too with the last few revision 1.8 and 1.9 and my card is a 280GTX w/1792mb. I was able to play an earlier version but can't remember now and hoping it would be resolved in 2.0. I'll give it a try later on my cab when I get home.

Thanks for the update and this table looks amazing.

Hi Lettuce,

Have you tried the following:
- running the table in 16 bit color
- limiting the textures to 1024 (video preferences)
- deleting wall "20cm" at left top of table

Not sure which one was the fix for me but I had the same error. My money is still on limiting the textures to 1024,

So the difference between 2.0 and 1.9 is the 2.0 have lower resolution textures ?

Than i don't think it's good if it called 2.0, better if there is 1.9Highres(old) and normal(or lowres depends what you call) versions.

Btw 4gb patch works here well, and with gtx285 1gb the 1.9 run perfectly.

I was still getting the offscreen surface error too. I exported one of the gun images to check it, and even though they're smaller, they're still 800x1600. I resized them all to 512x1024 and it plays fine.

Really nice table though! Once I got it to run biggrin.gif

Hello everyone, new to this virtual pinball stuff. Ive been trying to get terminator 2 to work on the cabinet i built. I have everything working, but when i shoot the ball it doesnt come all the way out. Has anyone ran into this issue? Can not figure out how to fix it. This is my favorite table and basically the reason I decided to build this cabinet. I have a video of it on my phone, but Im not sure how to post it.

I downloaded it from vpforums. https://www.vpforums...s&showfile=5372
Im running it on VP995, tried it on VP921 and it did the same thing.

I would recommend switching to VPX Terminator 2 tables, since they are 8 years newer.

If you want to stay with VP9, I would recommend trying this Tipoto's T2 version - https://www.vpforums...showtopic=17101

If you want to play the zedonius version, it worked okay for me on VP921 and VP995, but the ball basically dribbled out of the shooter lane but was playable.  To increase the ball speed out of the shooter lane, open table, click on script, go down to line 179 and try increasing the value 2 higher until you are happy with the speed the ball is launching at.  The original line says

SolCallback(sPlunger) = "vpmSolAutoPlunger Plunger,2,"
