It's supposed to be an added feature to allow the setting of volume for games that don't have support setting it through the rom, but you're the second person now that has had an issue... and I am not sure why. For now, open VPMKeys.vbs and comment out the following line, and see if it helps...
CODE
keyVPMVolume     = 88  '(F12)  Added Control to set VPM Volume

Maybe it is an issue with setting it to the F12 key for some users, but not sure. If this doesnt help, I will send you the previous version of the scripts.

Edit: Ok, Figured out the issue you were having anyway (still not sure bout the other person... different thread though) Seems there was a typo in 2 of the vbs files, Capcom.vbs and 6803.vbs, which would cause this issue. Not sure how this happened, as I altered one file to start, then copy/pasted for all the other ones, so they all should have been the same. I have attached a fixed zip file that should alleviate your issues.

wow, nice find. That probably was a nerve racking problem to figure out. Amazing. Still wish this table would get a complete overhaul. Currently have access to a NOS atlantis playfield. Getting it scanned in now, and should have it available for you guys soon.

That would also explain why the Dr.dude one wasn't working.

this one doesn't look so good in a FS version. Think it needs to be redone specifically for FS. Working on getting good source materials for you guys.
