Wild Ride Sideshooter

Description:
Wild Ride has the most modern theme of any sideshooter I have made. This release is dedicated to Stan C. Wade, or Bluto, as he was known as. Bluto disliked sideshooters so much that he PMd me saying they weren’t real pinball, and to stop making them.

While sideshooters are thought of as simple children’s toys, they can be challenging fun. I have added sounds that will remind you of warm days having fun at the amusement park. To add to the challenge, I have added 3 diverters near the center of the game, to encourage nudging. If you look closely, you can spot them. Because of the dirverters the ball is just as likely to be a miss, or hit the lower scoring cups at the top of the game as it is to land in the big point cups below.

S begins a game, the shift keys modify the launch speed, and the plunger launches the ball. Press R for rules and information. Thanks to Grizz for designing a backdrop for me. I liked it so much I have made a dozen of them in various colors, one which I've used for Wild Ride.

Thank you. I sort of see myself as an historian. And the best part I get to make and play some very interesting and fun games. It's a shame more folks won't give flipperless a try, but the ones who do play them seem to enjoy them as much as I do, so I won't stop doing what I do.

Wouldn't it be better to dedicate it to someone who does like this game type? I dedicate this Honorary Taliban Membership Emblem to President Obama. ? Do you think he'd appreciate that?

Everyone who uses VP is a historian in their own way. Amazing isn't it?

I don't find TiltJLP's comment on the table to be funny at all - dedicating a table to a dead person, who hates these kind of tables. I find that infuriating, which is the point I was trying to make - notice no smiley, so that should explain how I feel seeing that. It's like sending someone dead black flowers for their birthday.

Why should you be infuriated? Tiltjlp is simply giving a small tribute to a man he in his own way cared about. Maybe John is doing this to be a bit kind? Think about it.

As for black flowers, I LOVE them - especially black roses or iris' flowers. I always like those sent to me. It doesn't mean death either. Dead flowers too - it's the thought that counts. Geebus H Cripes; superstitions are just that - superstitions. You're as bad as my mother.

I suppose if I painted my middle finger black and pointed that at someone, you could call that the "fingled finger of fate" as well?

You know, sometimes I even wonder why I redid Pro Pool and Skykings. No wonder I want to go back to PIN BALL machines again.

I realize John's dedication is contradictory to what Bluto liked. Don't think I do not understand this. You're way off base here.

Sorry you mistook my intentions Brian. It was my way of remembering Bluto and saying that in spite of his grumpiness, I liked him.
