Anyone have a backglass image for this?

The link is good, but the file is not there. This looks like an old link to FD's site. I pm'd FD and he said he didn't have the image. I don't understand. If it was up there before, someone has it.

EDIT- After trying to download it twice, rapidshare said the file was not there. Then I tried a third time and it did download. Thanks Sikarkades!

This is on JP's list of tables to convert to VP9, so I believe when he converts this table, he will also do an FS version. At least he has done that with his previous conversions of recent vintage.

I was going to, but this is one of the tables JP is going to update, so I am not going to release it. This is one of the easy tables to rotate so if you can't wait, rotate. I just wanted to make sure there was a backglass available for when his version comes out. The table uses a rom, so it's UVP time. I may release a UVP for it, but FD may beat me to it.

ah, I have this table but forgot it was a vp8 table because of the date that it was updated when I looked at the thread.

woopsie! I just played pole position in vp9.09 and it works just great! I didn't even look at which vp it was supposed to be run on. So for the record it works just fine with vp9!

It works in VP9, and plays very well. The only thing I noticed is that the ball disappears when it goes around the outside ramp.

This table accepts coins but does not start when pressing 1. I am wondering if this has to do with the upgrade to the new PinMame version? Because I am sure it worked before. I am trying to play it in VP8.

Edit: Same thing happens on Destruk's version as well. Also tried it in VP9 to no avail.

Confirmed that it is the VPinMame DLL 2.5 because I tried 2.4 and the tables start without problem.

All Sonic/Peyper games had their dip switches changed in vpm 2.5. So 2.5 sees the dip set for 'bookkeeping mode' (dipswitch #16) and pressing 1 displays bookkeeping totals.
You can fix this easily by simply deleting the nvram poleposn.nv

The dip menu will need to be adjusted to match the new numbering - ie the "Attract Mode Off" text in the menu needs to be changed to "Attract Mode On".

Beautiful -- Destruk, thanks -- that solved that problem
