v1.9.1

Of course the about box says it is 1.9.1 2009... smile.gif lol
All this is - is it doesn't expire. Looks like everything else is identical to what it was 2 years ago. Thanks Black, I guess.
The exe is 512 bytes larger, so not all that much has improved - but at least nobody needs to mess with the system date to get it to continue working with the old tables. I was hoping he'd fix the watermark bug.

I don't see why it wouldn't since it was uploaded to his site, and compiled from his own source code (presumably by himself), with today's date on it. Or do you have reason to believe it is something else?

Thanks destruk for the info - and many thanks to Black for keeping to his promise. We all shouldn't forget the tremendous amount of development work Black did for Future Pinball in the past (I would imagine many many months of late nights and problem solving) and if he doesn't want to/isn't motivated to/is ready to develop it further, then that is fair enough. If one day he comes up with a new release then that will be great. In the meantime I will continue to enjoy both VP and FP and the efforts of the many many great table developers we have here and over on the GoPinball forums.

I see a little bit more bytes than 512

Difference 1:
The Arcade Mode appears in Video options without the command-line option (small but a difference).

Chris has removed the lighting settings from the registry. Not good.

Maybe it was not intentionally, i cant see what he would have to gain from doing such a thing. Is there no option for such a thing in the gfx settings now??

The settings were found by Rawd in the registry, they are not in the FP settings. They have been removed from the registry so the lighting cannot be changed.

As I remember, on the defunct FP forum, I've told to Chris that some keys (numeric keypad area) changes the lighting. The answer was: it is for test purpose. Chris had deleted these keys on the next release. Maybe Chris have deleted in this version all the possibilities...

Might aswell stick with the older version then if the only changes are the date removal (which can be fixed anyway ourselfs), and the aracde render button added. The lighting settings outweight these 2 'updates' alot more!!!
