Since i am going to try and strip some pins to get pics over xmas, would someone like to build an updated Cosmic Princess.
The current conversion , I feel , needs some much needed playfield graphics updating.

Will try to get stripped ESB, CP and maybe Time Warp.

Any pointers to what res, file sizes, uploading etc.

If not , carry on and have a merry xmas to all @ VPForums. smile.gif drinks.gif juggle.gif winetoast.gif

Add to that list Time Machine (Zac)

If you can get a stripped Cosmic Princess playfield, by all means PLEASE do. It's an uncommon beast; Australian made and only released there with a production run under 350 units. One flyer and a couple of low-resolution photos was all there was for me to work from back in 2003/2004. Size and resolution doesn't matter as much as focus and quality - if necessary, portions can be pieced together via Photoshop.

If you could get shots of the populated playfield with plastics, as well as stripped, that would also be a big help.

Will do, also was a couple of small differences too, spots 1 and 5 up the side lane , target lites are 5k, 10k, 20k 30k(at the targets) and also lite 2x, 3x, 4x,5x.

Will get as many pics as I can. You did real well if that was from flyers Eala.

The sounds are the basic 3 beep boop beep stern elect sounds, but it sounded cool with the six mill, harlem sounds.

Might get a new descent camera while im at it. smile.gif

upload them zipped to megaupload or rapigshare.
If you're stripping them all get a ton of pics of all of them, they will get rebuilt if the resources are there

Actually most of those earlier Stern SS games kicked ass, mods or not. wink.gif

Yeah, I took the plastics off and got more pics of them.

Will strip it down over the next few days.

There's a bad CRC error on one of the plastics photos, but it doesn't matter since it's a duplicate and all the others are fine.

When you come to strip the playfield, could you also take a shot of it with the plastics off, but all the posts, bulbs, rubbers and guide rails still attached and visible? This will help a great deal for accurate object placement.

Yep, will do that.
Took extra pics of the 2 top plastics, the orange seemed to be wrong on my comp and camera.
Looked ok when loaded onto the the laptop , should be close to the other plastics, but very slightly different.

Here is the pics with posts, rails, and rubbers.

Also includes the transparent plastic at the kickout hole, and the stern red post.

And here is the stripped playfield shots.

Let me know if I need to redo anything.

I see on your playfield, above the wire guides between the inner and outer return lanes, a couple of additional peg holes, one of which has a wire sticking out. Is this where another pair of rebound mini-posts should go?

This is like a nail without the head.
Take a look at the slingshots just above, just behind the rubber.
The one on the special side was missing.
Thinking about leaving them off or adding the miniposts. From memory, I think they always had the nails.
