Sorry to hear that, have you tried turning off texture filtering?
What GFX card are you using?

That's exactly what it's doing here. It stalls at "initializing newton". Specs in sig.

Hi!
Glxb help me so.

He told me,
"Use your normal settings but change the option in the bottom right, model quality, to high.

If my theory is correct this may fix it. (crashing, not missing textures)
I think it may be because the custom models do not have a Low Poly version included, so FP is trying to use something thats not there."

I had it load and play fine with xp, GForce 6200 and medium to minimum settings.
I got mine from FPR before it was here.

It has been found that you may need model quality set to high as stated above, do you have it set to high?

GLXB

All working fine for me
I have to have this system set to minimum to run FP but the texture quality is set high.
Using the standard graphix library,
haven't tried the cab version yet, just the Family Guy.fpt
I did notice that when loading , it lags for a bit when processing models.

You shouldn't have any problems with those specs.
I think there may be a problem with loading the lib files so can you try this one:
http://dl.dropbox.co...0/FGHighRES.zip

All the highres gfx are loaded into the table and not in lib files.

Also can you confirm you have MODEL Quality set to maximum.

I have it running on two monitors, with hi res textures and all the bells, whistles, etc. with my NVIDIA 250

What drives are people using?

Yes, I do have model quality to max. I tried a lot of different settings and the different table versions included, and I even re-downloaded it in case I had a corrupted download. I'm at work now, but will be sure to try this tonight. Thanks for your help GLXB!

EDIT: This file worked for me. At first the playfield and plastics weren't showing, but I fiddled with a couple settings and all is well. I played a few games and it is a very fun table! Thanks GLXB!

Hmmm... when I used that new file GLXB posted, I stopped seeing "initializing newton" when the table was loading. I never saw that on any other tables before, but I'm fairly new to FP too.

hmmm.. That just made me think.....

So, when using this new file, amisupposed to delete all the libfiles as well to preventthem from loading? Maybe that is what i did wrong. I thought this new file was standalone.I don't remember seeing Newton on anyother loading tables, but thatmust be because it loads fast. Newton is the physics engine component of FP , no?

I did not delete the lib files, I just left them there and thought if it didn't work I would delete them, but didn't need to.

Glad its working for you now.

To change the dmd just go to translite in the editor and delete the dmd on the top left of the screen and then remove the number 2 from the name of the dmd on the backglass.

Setting to high worked for me but I have a question how do you move the DMD over a bit. Also non pinball related but who's voice sounds like Norm Macdonald in the game.

This is a great table!

I appreciate the hard work that went into setting up all the rules and having so much great dialog.

When I play the cabinet table launching from Future Pinball it works great.

When I try to launch it from within Hyperpin it launches and then immediately exists back to the selection screen? Anyone else have this problem?

Sounds like something wrong in your xml file. If it was a problem with the table it would freeze the pc.

A very nice table, but I have a problem: as soon as the ball vanishes in the hole indicated in the attached jpeg, the game gets stuck and a very annoying loud "hum" is heard...
