Try to click on the DMD, press the "tiddle" key (below "escape" key) and then use arrow keys to adjust volumes

turned it all the way up and still no rom sounds. Is there some other file I"m missing perhaps? Does this table require a certain NVRAM file or vbscript etc?

Maybe you could try to run the table and then press F1, check if the rom sound is ticked or not.

These are my tables, sorted by date, all them playable with VPX 7 or newer:

After 18 years making tables, it is time to take a rest and let new authors do their thing.

I guess at last I'll play some more pinball :). But I'm sure I'll make some table updates from time to time :)

Hello,

There is an problem with the targets, they don't trigger the rom

solution is to remove the target collection and rename the sw50a to sw50 for example, same for the 3 other targets, the code for sw50 and the others is already there in the script

Cheers

https://raw.githubus...X mod 1.0.vbs

IF table doesn't get updated. Replace script with the code above. Fast flips already enabled and basic 7.1 already in place.

Don't know why you say they need to come out of the collection ?

Sorry, I was not at home this weekend

Thanks, Arngrim (and happy birthday !  ;) )

I'll rename targets in the script like in the table and upload the updated file

And do I really have to remove them from their collection ?

Thx for the nice table,

the top rollover extra ball counter does not work. The pink light was on, the ball rolled over and the light between the flippers stayed dark.

When the ball  runs out, the next regular ball was given.

It also happens sometimes to me when the ball is too speed

Don't know if it's possible to set the "sensibility" of the rollover, perhaps increase the Y dimension ?

Thanks for the updates my friend!!

Love this table!!

On a side note...

This weak rollover chat, has reminded me of my TRON mod. It seemed the star rollovers on that table weren't triggering with every hit.

But when I widened the trigger, it also visually widened it, so I just left it as it originally was.

Is there a way to widen these star rollover triggers, without visually impacting them?

Or would you need to add another trigger that is wider but invisible, in same spot?

Thanks, Xenonph, hope you had nice holidays !

When I talk about "increase the Y dimension" it's the one of the area around the rollover itself, but it's for a TriggerWire, not a TriggerStar

The only setting I can see for a trigger is "Hit Height" but I don't really understand what that means !

Is the height at which the ball is registered by the trigger,

an example, with a high value of "Hit Height" you can have the trigger on the playfield and register the passage of the ball over a ramp.

So. That means since a regular ball is 50. The optimal hit height is 25 ? If so, why do I often see it set to a different value ? And to batch. I've seen more than a few times that if the rollover switches isn't long enough they might not work. As you suggested. Making them longer in the Y axis has been a good solution to fix them.

From now on. I won't help anyone here at VPF. Please ask Noah why that is.

Thanks, Thalamus and Kiwi

I've tried to set Hit Height value to 25 on my table "Amazon Hunt" and triggers work fine, but on my table "Motörhead" they don't work at all, so I've had to set this value back to 50

Both tables have "Const Ballsize = 50" in their scripts

Well. I tend to disagree. There is a playsound routine that sees to that those targets actually do play a sound
Batch seems to refuse to use the updated 7.1 I've made. But it still applies for the regular table.

Sub Targets_Hit (idx)
   PlaySound "target", 0, Vol(ActiveBall), Pan(ActiveBall), 0, Pitch(ActiveBall), 0, 0, AudioFade(ActiveBall)
End Sub
