After 18 years making tables, it is time to take a rest and let new authors do their thing.

I guess at last I'll play some more pinball :). But I'm sure I'll make some table updates from time to time :)

I do not get that error. An error in line 1 (null) means a vpinmame error (mostly because of the vbs scripts). Could you explain a little more what's going on during the game when the error happens?

I guess for the saucers you need new video drivers, and for the DMD you may need to update vpinmame (just guessing here)

Great table JP!!!  A simple question - other VPX tables i tried in my Cab (2 screens) and the DMD appeared with the backglass.  I try AFM/Totan and the DMD does not show up to be moved to the backglass. I hear it running but it is not visible on screen. Am I missing something? This is probably a simple issue. Any suggestion?

I think the coordinates may be wrong and the window is out of the screen view area. I should clean the registry entries. This one:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Freeware\Visual PinMame\afm_113b

and this one:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Freeware\Visual PinMame\totan_14

Next time you run the table the window should be at 0,0

(by clean I mean delete :) )

Hi JP,

Thanks for the great tables.

I just downloaded all your VPX tables from your site on 12/20 and updated my Cabinet.

Can you list which ones have changed since then?

I followed the Beta thread religiously and downloaded and tested frequently.

Now on the official release section it's hard to tell which are updated and need to be re-downloaded since their last beta releases.

Thanks again.

Rich

All the tables have changed a little bit. Mostly a new HDR image for the illumination and I added the good old Timeshock ball :) That ball looks very nice in VPX :) Some tables have a few small changes in the GI illumination mostly because of the changed HDRI image. And the TOTAN table has a different image for the lamp. Now the color of the lamp is more defined by the material. I made 2 materials for the lamp, one bronze and one gold. Still there are a lot of to experiment with the materials.

Hi JP and thanks for the response.   I tried the desktop version and that worked fine with the DMD when PinMame is the Controller.  When I try to use B2S as Controller I get no DMD to appear even with the 0,0 coordinates.  At this point I'm curious if anyone else can get the DMD in Cab Mode to show up.

Did you try pressing the ALT and TAB keys together to see if it's behind the table?

I just got the dmd working working! I kept messing with the script and backglass settings. Sorry for that. Now back to some AFM action

I guess for the saucers you need new video drivers, and for the DMD you may need to update vpinmame (just guessing here)

Its not the drivers, it might be the card im running a Quatro, it is also most likely windows 10

I did use the latest vpinmame

thanks

I have the same problem at higher resolutions (1920 x 1200). Try running lower resolutions to test. (1280 x 800)

I'm guessing my old geforce 8600 with 256 MB ram is not adequate to run this?

Ok, so the missing graphics is not the driver. It is the old essential files VBS script pack that I had in my tables folder. Once I reinstalled vpX and moved the VPx table file sinto the install directory and not run them from another directory with older VBS and script files in it, then the game loaded and worked. As for the stuck DMD, if I click the 7 key it takes it out of the cycle and runs.

The problem im having now is however is that the table and ball sounds are very loud and the game DMD sound is very soft, any suggestions

Great table BTW, thanks

I cant wait for twilight zone, adams family and star trek
