Howdy all

Still very new to the scene but been having a ton of fun with other tables and setting them up until I tried JP's Ghostbusters slimer. I just can't get the DMD to show up.

I figured it was hidden under the play field or something like other tables and I'd just adjust it but nope there is nothing there. I get the backglass/playfield and VP running

thx to alt-tab but no DMD. I've tried numerous backglasses and settings and have no clue what I am missing. I'm currently working with three screens and i've also tried with two

but no luck. So please can anyone point me in the right direction? Also having the same issue with the Real Ghostbusters version.

Thank you

I guess you are missing the FlexDMD or it is not registrered. If you have FlexDMD in your Vpinmame folder, then run FlexDMDUI.exe and register it so everything is green.

These are my tables, sorted by date, all them playable with VPX 7 or newer:

After 18 years making tables, it is time to take a rest and let new authors do their thing.

I guess at last I'll play some more pinball :). But I'm sure I'll make some table updates from time to time :)

Ok I have it in there now. Just curious can you point me in the right direction to the proper backglass to use. I download several of them and want to make sure I use the proper one

I haven't made any backglas for the table, so just use the one you like best. The backglass is just decoration.

So FlexDMD is installed properly, setting it so everything is green. Everything checks out and still nothing.

I'm sorry about bugging you about this. I really really want to play this :)

btw the version of VP i'm using 10.7.2

Can you play any other table using FlexDMD? Like my Deadpool, Serious Sam, Horrorburg, Friday the 13th?

I checked out your awesome Friday the 13th table and its the same issue, No DMD showing. This seems to be a thing for me for table with no separate ROM.

Yes, there is something wrong with FlexDMD. You can always download the latest FlexDMD and dmdext. I guess you are using the 32 bits of VPX 10.7.2, so download the x86 (32 bits) versions, although you may download the 64 bits too, so you are ready for later.

Download the zip files and simply unpack them and overwrite the files in your vpinmame folder. Then run again FlexDMDUI.exe to register the new version.

Ureka! We have a winner after like 15 hours of trying to figure it out that was it. It started working right away :)

Thank you again for all your help and making such incredible tables.

Good! It was a pity not to be able to play those tables :)
