DOF Config Tool - need to update again.

 

Everyone who tried to already update their DOF Config Tool files, needs to do so again! For whatever reason the site had the table set to PRIVATE, even though I didn't save it that way.

 

It appeared fine to me, but wouldn't have shown for anyone else.

 

It should be fixed now. Just re-generate new configs from the site and it should work now.

Hmmm. Did you copy the FP_PE_SW_DSA_GE folder to the PinUpSystem/PuPVideos folder? I'm sure you right click, properties, UNBLOCK when you first downloaded the zip right?

Yes, I did copy the FP_PE_SW_DSA_GE folder to the PinUpSystem/PuPVideos folder. The download in properties was not blocked 

 

doggone. well all I can suggest is going through step by step and I know its a long read but maybe you missed something. It worked "out of the box" for me in desktop mode. I didnt even have to turn pupstream on as it already defaulted to that. Did you run any of Terrys other PinEvent 2 games before like Sonic? 

 

Yes, cliff, all of Terry's other tables are fine. i'll work on it

 

 

 

Be sure FPLoader.exe is set to Windows 8 Compatibility. Re-check it after applying the patch, and be sure Defender or Anti-Virus isn't blocking it after patching it.

 

The FAQ in the install instructions answers many questions.

Manu had me on his Mystery Pinball Theatre 3000 show talking about Star Wars DSA: GE.

 

I'm still recovering from the stroke (awaiting heart surgery until the fall now)... so my sleep and energy is all over the place... but its so nice to be able to do this kind of thing when I have the chance. It was a good time.

    Terry, as fantastic as all your tables are they mean nothing compared to your health. You have a family that needs you (and I don't mean pinball family)

please don't push yourself to hard to please anyone but your wife and children. Have your surgery, recover and then think about Pinball again.

Be sure you downloaded both the newest table and the newest pup-pack. The table checks for the correct pup-pack version, and if it's not found, it won't be used.

 

Run the correct BAT file in the pup-pack folder for the setup you use.

Thanks Terry, that's did the trick. I also renamed the 1.0 Pupuck folder version to "FP_PE_SW_DSA_GE v1.0" and reflected it in the script so that both versions continue to work.

Follow the included install instructions to make sure you are update properly. Then after that, make sure you are running BAM (FPLoader.exe) to load and play the table.

Hi.

Table is amazing but I'm having a slight problem.

While playing there is no ball visible on the playfield  just the shadow.

The ball can be seen stationary off to the the left of the playfield.

Any Ideas on how to fix this?

If using the correct required FP settings, and completely updated to the latest FP and BAM Essentials.... and you completely close FP after exiting a table everytime (need a fresh load of FP each time a table is loaded and started)... then there's not anything else to do.

 

If you can't resolve it, then you can disable the BB-8 Ball in TABLE OPTIONS in the table script and use the default chrome ball.
