This guide will enable you to configure Visual Pinball, Future Pinball, and Pinup Popper using the direct control settings from a Windows PC connected to an AtGames Legends Pinball cabinet in OTG mode.  It teaches:

• How to obtain the button values for your controls using joy.cpl
• How to enter the controller values into Visual Pinball, Future Pinball, and Pinup Popper

Nice work. And thanks for making it a simple document and not a video. I started my ALP setup a few days ago with JoyToKey before I realized I don't even need it. I agree that leaner is better when possible.

Nice work and thanks for contributing. Wish I had found this 1 month ago!  I'm collecting a ton of notes on how to make things work properly with the ALP Arcade Controller, optimizing sound (without SSF) for VPx & FX3, and general tweaks. I'll post in a week or so when i'm done and link to your doc to replace my section on controller setup since your's is more complete/detailed!  I'll post here and on Facebook ALP forums (both owners and mod forums)
