Hi guys. Was wondering what are the opinions from vpforums members about this mini form factor virtual pinball cabinet. It houses a 1080p, 15" (38cm) playfield and a 8" (20.3cm) back display, 3 inch (7.6 mm) speakers, no plunger and some basic haptic feedback. Can connect to AtGames store to buy more tables. Has a USB On-the-go port and a HDMI port on the back so you can plug another PC to use the playfield. The backbox display can also be used with an optional board (sold separately). Weighs about 30lbs and comes with no legs, but it comes fitted with the holes compatible with Williams and Stern/Sega Legs.

My apologies if this sounds like an advertisement. I am not trying to promote this item, just curious what people here would say that have way more experience about this topic than me. Personally I like the small footprint, but would love if the backbox (or playfield) could be just a tad bigger.

Welcome to the forum.

1. sounds like the Micro's version of the (full sized) AtGames Legends Pinball VIBS-Board. Yeah, you want that. Which ever one you get ... when you connect a computer (for OTG-Mode) you want the machine's back-LCD to display the Table's matching "Backglass" image (in VPX, TPA, or FX3).

2. I suggest you at least consider the ALP then. I got mine new at Sams-Club for $400.

A few of us here have the regular-ALP and a couple even have the LPM.

It's WAY too small to be useful, in my opinion.

Hell, even my mini cabinet with a 27" playfield, 20" backglass monitor and 7" DMD is too small.

Yeah it's meant to be small. On Youtube people talk about adding legs to it or the optional board that allows access to the backbox display. People who bought the bigger model mention they like the AtGames logo isn't lit in the Legends Micro (no reflections like it supposedly happens with the ALP). I also saw someone say that if you happen to have both the AtGames Legends and Legends Micro, that any tables purchased could be downloaded on each machine without having to buy twice. Not sure why someone would have them both, but I thought it was interesting. Criticisms appear to focus on the D-pad being mushy and the backbox display being too small even for this size.

That's half the regular price. Not bad! Guess I gotta find the time to hunt for deals.

1. Yeah, I disconnected my logo's light-strip a while back.

2. I played the 22 Gottlieb games when I first got it. They are fun and Rescue-911 was our favorite. Pretty sure Farsight did those for AtGames. Supposedly, the Zaccaria tables are good too, but I never bought any.

However, after the first week or so ... I can't say I've played in Native-Mode since. I only use OTG-Mode now. At first, I played Farsight's The Pinball Arcade (with Arcooda Addon and all the good Williams/Bally Tables). Then Pinball-FX3 some.

Nowdays, I just boot directly to OTG-Mode . My Windows-10 computer boots directly to PinballY and I really only play VPX-Tables.

New models are supposedly coming soon. You might be able to find some remaining close-out-deals on the old models.

What do you want to know?  It's basically the same as the normal ALP just smaller.

Hey guys!

After like 2 months my Pinball Micro finally arrived and I'm ... so so with my decision to purchase this :)

1st of all my Pinball itch was satisfied like 2-3 months ago so I'm good for the next 6 months :))

I am thinking that maybe I could have spend the 730 euros on something else... but oh well.

It's not bad, but I'm just not in the zone for now. It might also be because of the existing Pinball Tables.

So my questions to you:

What are 2-3 good pinball tables to try out?

Anything worth purchase from their store? Any Gotlieb packs?

Thanks

If you mean natively ... our favorite was Rescue 911 (Gottlieb 1994) .

On the CostCo ALP deal, they gave us 22 of the Gottlieb tables as a bonus.

I only run OTG-Mode now-days, (so I don't know first-hand) but I heard some of the stuff by Magic Pixel was pretty good (Zaccaria and Natural History tables).
