I can also post a highscore of 7.7m, because that's the hs in the backglass, after I install the table. :-)
I will never reach this score with the original table and the normal settings with 3 balls. My best score after many games is nearly 365.000 points.

Oh really? Sorry for my post. I had a kickass game with multipliers and g things. And when I finished that was the score I saw. So I figured it was mine. Duh.....

OK, so no 7,7mio hs at the moment? Good to hear there is still a normal chance at playing the challenge.

Fewww, that make scene ;-)  Might have to dust the table off, been a while since I've played more than just testing.

The key to big scores is keeping the ball alive in the basement and utilizing the 5x bonus!!

Took a little practice, but scores are starting to get better.  I've been playing 3-ball and finding scoring is actually easier.

I'm done on this week's challenge. Good luck to the remaining players. Whoever is this week's winner, I hope you consider the new Back to the Future. It's not been chosen yet, and the new version plays really well and is gorgeous to look at!

Is there a still working link for the updated Pinball Magic table? All of them in this thread seem to be dead.

Thanks.

I have not seen an official update where you could dl from the official download page. Which kinda surprises me. Anyhow, if it doesn't show up I could Dropbox it for you

From now on. I won't help anyone here at VPF. Please ask Noah why that is.

I also am done playing this table!!

Don't get me wrong, this is a great table!!

Most I could get was about 150k, and that was only because first ball I got something like 95k.

The problem I have with table, and it has nothing to do with how the author made the table, is when you exit the lower playfield with a drain, the gate that puts ball back in play is rarely open, so when you lose ball with drain on bottom playfield, it is just as if you had lost it on upper playfield drain, unless you are lucky enough to activate that gate before going down to lower playfield, or you hit the captive ball on lower playfield. Even when you lock ball in upper playfield, if your next ball drains, it will drain that ball you locked also!! I am guessing they didn't want to let people have any extra time playing, with these locked balls just draining.

(I would cringe each time I entered lower playfield!! And I think blood pressure rose!! lol)

Other than that, I loved playing this table!!

Can't wait to see what table will be picked next!!

This is really fun!! And it makes you play only one certain table for a long time, and helps you learn rules of table better.

Agree with you Xeno. Sometimes on that lower plafield it's best just to not flip and let it bounce back to the flipper. I got pretty good at opening the gate on the lower play field but it took a lot of games. Ironically the best game I had was early in the week when I thought I had that 7.7 million. It was one of those games that everything went right.

Yes, the buttom playfield makes me always nervous. :-)
Don't have much time to play this week, but today I will play some games and hope, I can raise my hs from 365000. ;-)
But the table is very good and playable.

After many games I have one with 5x Bonus and a 3-Ball-Multiball. New personal hs with 1.3m and I think I don't get more points. So I now will play a few other new tables like BTTF (maybe the next "Game of the week"-table?) :dblthumb:

Awesome score Joey!!

I ran out of my quotas for likes again.

5 likes a day just doesn't seem to be enough!!!

I will start practicing on BTTF now, because I don't see anyone beating that great score!!

Carry on.
