@batch

I'll take a look tonight.  I didn't notice this during my testing, but I was focused on other issues.

@Joey2001

First issue:  I assume you're talking about the captive ball.  If so, the bottom ball doesn't move.  It's trapped between four posts.  There is a glass/transparent ball behind it.  That ball does roll up the lane.  It can be difficult to see it.  I can look at the transparency of the material and see if that helps.

Second issue: What I assume you're saying is that there's an extra ball in the plunger lane while another ball is in play.  If so, I can do some testing on that tonight.

Third issue: Anything you can get me today would be great.  I won't have much time tomorrow to look at issues.

Thanks guys!

OK, here is the little video. I don't test the newest version.

This is why I keep up with the game of the week challenge.  You guys are the best!  When a table gets out of a challenge week it usually works much better or you are guaranteed that it was always working well.  Unfortunately, I haven't even gotten to Gilligan's Island yet.  I think I need to redo my schedule to find a way to include more pinball.

I am hoping to add every game of the week table to my cab!

On a side note, I had been looking at this table lately since I recently added Big Bang Bar a few weeks ago.

The new version runs much better. But the issue in my video is always there. I've got it many times in my games.

Maybe that's normal? But it takes twenty to thirty seconds until the ball comes back.

Also a few times the ball stops in the middle of the upper ramp and I don't get him with nudging (you can't tilt the game :-))

During the ball lies on the ramp, after a while a new ball appears (from the left kickout or in the plunger lane).

So the issue with too many balls is farther there.

But thanks for the fast updates. The table is much more playable now and I enjoy him. Get 273m as my hs.

Thanks for the update

I think this challenge is a good way to find the potential bugs of a table

This version plays much better. The stage is still a bit buggy, dues not always register. The skill shoot us also a bit tricky. When you shoot it sometimes you get the 5 mln but must if the times only 500k. Got to round two but lost the ball fairly quick :(.0bfede7b081d5a07ac7d189c129b8d53.jpg

Well my theory crashed and burned.

I must have played 20 to 30 games.

My average was about 53 million.

Couple of times I got around 68 million.

Only 1 game was higher than my previous high score. Got over 123 mill. Was too tired to play anymore lastnight.

Will try again today!!

This table is really fun!!

I actually have got that skill shot down pat. I also had a ball get stuck in middle of upper ramp. This table only has a center nudge. I feel a side nudge would have dislodged ball. Anyways after awhile another ball came out of chest, so I used it to hit the other ball and they both came out. And after losing one of those balls, the game did not end, but still counted the other balls scoring. So it was like it was meant to get stuck there? The game knew there were 2 balls in play. Anyways it didnt seem like a problem to me.

Have a great day!!

I love playing this table!!

I have totally taken break from working on A Real American Hero mod. (So don't expect update within next few days.) Hopefully Noah will approve version 1.2 that I already uploaded, so everyone can see how it turned out with my first experience using timers in script!!(Hopefully you can see the improvement.)

EDIT: TABLE UPDATE HAS BEEN APPROVED!! THANK YOU NOAH!!! Have a great night Sir!!

I thought I would save everyone in this competition who wanted to adjust sound, a trip to view ta2686's wonderful sound adjustment tutorials found here..http://www.vpforums....tutorials&cat=9

I am going to try my best to win this competition this week!!

I had a few more games where I hit almost 100 mill, but never went over it.

This is a great thing to do for people who work on tables, and are so passionate about working on tables, that they don't want to take break from working on tables.

I have tried to breaks from working on these tables, but I find myself always going back to work on them!! I am soooooo ADDICTED!!

I have silently competed almost every week with these weekly competitions, but maybe only played 10 to 20 games before the addiction kicked back in!!

My scores were never that great, and I never played the tables enough to get a great score. I have played about 50 games so far this week, and I am going to keep playing it all night!! I am bound to get a great score sooner or later!!!

So I am forcing myself to take a break from working on tables, and to compete in this weeks competition for at least a couple days. Seems like the perfect way to take break, and actually get some enjoyment with friendly competition!!

(I will still try to help others here in forums if I think I know answer to there problem.)

Have a great night!!

There seems to be some issues with the emulation of this game.  Certain switches don't seem to register with the software even though I can see they are activated.  That said, the game still seems to play and you can complete each task.  I'm pretty sure there are shots that don't score properly though.

This will be the last update this week.  I'll reach out the VPM devs to see if there's anything they can do.

  • This should fix the ball stuck on the middle of the upper ramp.
  • Improved the kick back.
  • Some wall shape adjustments.

Hi everyone,

I have really enjoyed this weeks pinball high score challenge I was really suprised when I saw so many posts here midweek, I have been slow to check progress but the updates to the table are fantastic, thank you Rothbauerw,

I was perplexed as what to do after the wand moved I would hit the ramp and watch it roll over the lamps but never thought to hit the flipper to drop, thank you Senseless for posting link to rule sheet I still have a few more days to get my score up, it should improve now that I have read the rule sheet...

You guys are great and I'm getting better...

With every update a little better. Skillshot with 5m seems only to get at the first and third ball. I never get him at the second.

New personal hs.

Not so far behind you, Joey !

Like you, I had a ball stuck at the top of the ramp (above the hand) but I got it with nudging (about 30s using all the keys !) :)

I had another ball stuck above the target near the wooden chest (perhaps something collidable is missing there)

I've played quite a few games since I got this score early in the week and got in the 200 millions a lot, but no other game in the 400 million, so I'll post this now. Won't have much time the rest of the week to play. I mentioned earlier that I got this score when I said to myself'''"just one more". I was so excited to come on here and post my score that I forgot to put in my initials. Good luck to all. Keep on rockin in the free world!
