hi all, just got into this table.

i had an older version of this table, so i am now in the middle of adding this newer version.

i have downloaded "The Machine Bride of Pinbot (Williams 1991)(uw jf dark)(FS)(v2.01)"

when i try to run it with pinmame 9.2.1, i get an error, and the table wont launch.

when i run it with PM5, the flippers dont work.

when i run it with pinmame 990, it does not start up smoothly, but i eventually can get it to play.

which is the correct pinmame version to run this table, i didnt see it listed in the Docs?

thanks.sparky

You should be able to run the VP9 non-PM5 tables with VP9.9.exe and above.(VP9.9.5 should run this table.) If you run into problems with scores not showing, (this will happen with older VP9 Desktop version tables) you can get them to show properly when played with older versions of VP. (Usually VP9.21 or VP9.12)

You can find the PM5 version and many more PM5 tables in this topic here..

Here is Laylows link to PM5 FS tables..

Hope this helps you.

hi guys, i got this table all working perfectly now with pm990.

i had the problem with the wrong face, deleted my nvram, but it didnt help.

i found angrim's nvram in post 109 of this thread, and it works great.

however, i have now installed the PM5 table, but i now have the face problem with PM5, while the 990 table faces work great.

i have deleted the nvram, and tried it all again, but still only the 990 faces work correctly, while the PM5 faces do not....

anybody have a clue, or an nvram that works correctly with PM5?

PS, i also noticed that the plunger is not showing through the shooter guage. i that just me, or how do i fix?....thanks/sparky
