I was wondering if anyone got around to a way to adjust the volume as well. I think someone once mentioned editing the individual sound files but I was hoping someone found a better way. (Or could confirm that worked.)

I do know initially there were difficulties in being able to do this and I don't know if they ever got resolved.

It's been forever since I've touched this table (and I don't really have the ability to test anything currently), but have you tried using the VP volume controls?  I think it's + and - keys; you should see a volume bar appear at the bottom of the screen.  If things are too quite at 100%, then yes, you'll have adjust the sound files; or get a more powerful amplifier.

You can also turn down the Music Volume in the Options window under User Customization. However, some Sound Effects, like certain Voice Clips, are quieter than others, and they would have to be tuned individually. I'd do it myself if there weren't soooo many sound files to sort through. It might be easier for the original table builders if they remember which sound files are which, but the naming convention in the table assets just looks like random letters and numbers to me.

Those sounds are pulled straight from the SD card that's in the actual table (technically they're freely available on Ben Heck's site); although they were turned mono for size sake (people already have a hard time downloading a 100+ meg table, hardly anyone would download a gig table).  They're named sequentially like that to make it easier to play random sounds; instead of having to build arrays of human read-able sounds, then playing a random element in the array, you just have a random number generator.  There might also be something to do with it on a more machine level, memory addressing and what-not.

I can't get this table to run. I have followed the instructions for the Ultra DMD but I have no backglass - just one monitor... I did not see any lines where I can say in the script that B2S should be off. Unfortunately, I get errors in lines 127, 494 and 688

Is it possible to run this table with just one monitor and if yes, could someone tell me what I need to do? Thank you very much in advance!

Really fun table, had some struggles to install and configure UltraDMD but now I finally have some colors on my PinDMD3.

So everything works, music, color DMD, multiball, but then....when you play the game a few minutes I get the following error:

AMH.png

The script error says: The external servercomputer doesn't exist or isn't available: 'UltraDMD.CancelRendering'

When I put a ' in front of    ' UltraDMD.CancelRendering  the error doesn't appear but I can't switch the Skill shot anymore.

I have the table working, sounds are fine and DMD shows, but the animated .gifs won't play. Only the first frame is shown for each one. When starting up the UltraDMD animation plays fine. I'm on Windows 7, anyone have an idea on what's going on?

Everything on this table is working good for me but for some reason I dont have any ball rolling sounds on the playfield. I have sounds on the ramps but that is all. Any ideas?

Am I the only one with this problem? Absolutely zero ball sounds on anything other than the wire ramps

Hello. I'm sorry. For me it never had ball sound, all other VPX tables works fine with mechanical sounds and ball sounds. On that table I only have flipper sound and ball drain sound, but no ball rolling/collision sounds, also no plunger sounds. I also have music and "rom" sounds working fine. In the script I can see ball rolling/collision code. In the sound manager there is ball rolling sound, so I don't understand why it doesn't work. May I ask you if you have working ball sounds on your table ?

I use version 091315a (The one you can download here http://www.vpforums....&showfile=11581), I also have a lot of pink items on the table as you can see on the screenshot and there is a graphic bug, we can see the kicker hole through the door, take a look :

I just love this table, a work or art and I just want to thank freneticamnesic and everyone involved. I'm just sad that I have ball sounds/plunger sound issues and some graphical "bugs".

Kids these days will never know the joy of having to add their own ball sound scripts to tables :)

Material issues are alarming. I haven't tried this in the new VP Builds. No promises. I'm afraid to even think about it lol

OK I looked. The ball rolling script is in there and I know it used to work so I don't have a clue why it doesn't now

I see the pink materials. I'll see what I can do.

Fren, the field height of the table is 100.

Change ball rolling sub line to

If BallVel(BOT(b) ) > 1 AND BOT(b).z < 160 Then

Not sure why field height changed - maybe later versions of VPX did something weird?
