Aaron's Tip of the Day :

If you can get 2 multiballs going at the same time, as soon as you only have one ball left, you have 2-3 seconds to get the ball up the main ramp to be awarded "Voltaire's Multiple Jackpots".
I know this is a certainty with the home roms.

Easiest way is to get juggler or high wire multiball, and then have a ringmaster multiball all lined up, ready to go.
Or get high wire, strike an arc, and a ringmaster multiball going!....really rack up the points that way :-D

Aaron and Koadic.
Any chance you guys have plans to release a normal "day" 4.0.1 version of this? :)

I am getting the same error as some members but I can't seem to fix it.

The first time I launched the table it seemed to go fine but I did not start a game.

I pressed f6 to go to the settings and change it for the directb2s backglass.

Since then I get 2 errors: Line: 0 (nul) and then Line 1049: Type mismatch 'Bigballimage'

I tryed to delete diferent files (nvram, cfg, registery entry...) all I couldthink of but nothing fixed it.

Restarted my computer, downloaded a new copy of the table, still not working.

I am using the latest VP built and tried with VPinball 9.2 rev739 and VPinball 9.2 rev740, same issue.

I give up, anybody can help.

Thanks

Did you just change the controller? Or enable the old style backglass too? You will get that error if you try to launch the backglass and it's missing or misnamed.

Just load my table, export pf, pf_a, pf_b and pf_on and import them into this table, replacing the same images. Then you have an instant day light table :).

I believe that error has to do with an incorrectly named .b2s file that came with this download. That file also must be in your tables folder as well.

Great table update but this F6 menu is a mess.  If you choose incorrectly, you then can't re-open the table to hit F6 again and make a change.

If you are getting errors, make sure the B2S exe filename matches the VPT table file name.

Hi guys..

As said already, awesome table, BUT i have a very weird performance problem that i cannot explain:

If i use stereo3D rendering, i get ~50 fps, but ONLY if the ringmaster is above the playfield, even partially is fine..

If he's completely inside it's around ~20fps (i.e. unplayable)..

To me it doesn't make any sense, but i guess you guys have an easy explanation whats different between the two states that could cause this?

he is set to .topvisible=0 and an alpha ramp is set to .alpha=1 for the cover... try finding where topvisible is set to 0 and set it to 1 instead to see if that has any effect.

If you are getting errors, make sure the B2S exe filename matches the VPT table file name.

You reset the saved options by removing the ' character from this line at the top of the script.

'optReset = 1  'Uncomment to reset to default options in case of error OR keep all changes temporary

also have another minor update ready that will eliminate the possibility of not being able to change f6 settings due to error loading the table

That does the trick.. So can i leave it hardwired at 1 without having any unwanted sideeffects?

Do you have an explanation why this slowdown happens then? Something we need to fix in the rendering/updates/whatever?

No idea, I just figured it would provide that much more fps when the ringmaster was down being that the primitive is hidden... something to fix then?

Does the same thing happen with Hurricane? as I have many hidden primitives so the quality level can be selected depending on performance.
