Interesting you have stutter with your fast system. Are you using the Scared Stiff FS 1.44 version?
I just tried it with mine and UVP enabled and have 0 stutter.

The backglass I am using is the 1280x1024 stock backglass from the UVP.
If yours is higher resolution, perhaps thats causing the slow down.

I know when I used the 5 mexapixel backglasses in my cabinet I got stutter. When I put the lower res backglass back it was stutter free.
It would be a good test to resize the HD version to 1280x1024 and see if that fixes the stutter.

I am not going to make a highres version of Scared Stiff for several reasons,
1- I have more interesting things to do.
2- I agree with Luvthatapex, a very high resolution image is too resource hungry.
3- Too many reflections in that image. You can almost see the guy who took the picture smile.gif.

I am using 1280*1024 pixels for my backglasses, Same as most UVPs.

Eventually, when I get around to document the new features I will release a new version of the VB template. Anyone interested in making a high res version is welcomed to use my B2S solution.

best regards,
Roger

so no update required if your on 3 screens?

If you refer to the Bad Cats update, then the backglass without the grill is unchanged. However I think it's a good idea to use the new B2S.vpt file to be able to run the new b2s tables I am currently working on.

aight i'll go grab it

Can't wait for your next release, whatever it may be.
I am really enjoying the Jacks Open table.
Although the name drives me crazy as I always want to call it Jacks to Open. lol.

The Jacks Open table and bg is made by Pinuck. But, thanks anyway wink.gif

My next B2S conversion is JP's Time Machine. A table I really like a lot that unfortunatly is very stuttery for me with UVP, so I made a new backglass that works on my cab. Should be ready with it later today.

Awesome news. I love Time Machine with the changes in the music for the different decades.
It is a fun machine that I have never played on an actual machine.
Now that I have worked out all my cabinet problems, I feel like a B2S expert.
Took me awhile to catch on to exactly how everything was working.

Hi,

I have discovered today the b2s tables, so much practical, I love it.

I tried badcats and scared stiff, with badcats, the dmd is automatically placed in the right position of the second screen.

But with Scared Stiff, it is not the case, the dmd is displayed at his default vpinmame position.

How can I fix this?

Bad Cats is not a DMD table, the leds are a part of the backglass.

For Scared Stiff, right click on the dmd and select Show Window Borders. Now you can move and resize as you want.

Ok, I know how to move the DMD, I was just thinking that after the badcats test, that B2S tables were like that.

Maybe another future improvement? This would be great.

Rosve, this table is enhanced greatly with your spinning spider. Well done! It plays and looks great and the spider is a must have!
Thanks for this, I am sure it was hard work.

Love the update! Any chance you could give me somewhat detailed steps for getting the analog plunger to move the plunger graphics? I've attempted the steps in the other thread but, it's beyond me when certain names are changed. I'd love this table to be a perfect play for me. THANKS!

I don't have an analog plunger myself and I have no idea how it is implemented.

Check out the thread Noah posted: Updating Fullscreen Tables to use the Nanotech DIY Plunger

You can add this to the VP table with zero impact for people without the plunger kit.

Ah, sorry, I guess I just got lucky that the other tables you B2Sed had supported the mechanical plunger.

Hey, Todd, I know you mentioned that for the builders but those are the exact steps I've failed at implementing on several tables. I get lost during the hack (and to me it is a hack because I'm not certain of what all the code does). I'm good at following instructions and trouble shooting errors in lines of code but I have a hard time even figuring out what type of plunger animation a table is using. I definitely need more examples and guidance.

Yeah, just change the "screen res" file in your table folder. Change the 2nd 2 numbers to 1024 and 768.
