Sorry, toxie... I don't know.  I don't change those settings much and just noticed it when setting up the Walking Dead LE table yesterday... so it very well could have been present for a long time without my knowing.  Wish I could help more with that.

I had an issue today where I had changed the max texture size setting to 2048, and then was unable to change it back to unlimited (even after restarting).  In the past, I have always been able to change it back without it getting "stuck" on 2048.  Not sure when this would have started.

Fixed.

Bug report: when I change the joystick buttons in the keys setup to "none" it works until vpx is exited. The setting are set back to default if VPX is restarted. Where are joystick buttons stored? Can I enter directly in the registry?

Which revisions show this issue? Only the latest 2881 or others too?

The others to.o I had the issue with some of the last revisions. I have not figured out, when it started.

Toxie, you were right. It was PInballX overwriting the joy settings. IT WAS NOT VPX. My apologies.

Duration - where is it? I have v2881 installed but I dont see the property and I cant get the demo table to work.

Perhaps I am confused on what the latest state of the new feature is..

Duration is a script command and can be found in the commandReference.txt in the light section.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think the 1060 might be the best deal right now.

Hi,

So I bought an Asus 1060 Turbo 6 Gb video card to replace my 770, and I can now play with these settings :

vpx_1010.png

And nVidia settings resetted to default.

With my 770 and VPX 2874+, tables are smooth but have a little stuttering.

With my 1060, all tables are super smooth, even with the Ambiant Occlusion Update in-game option, except if I change FPS/Vsync to 0, then stuttering is back but it has always been the case for me with VPX.

@Toxie : I've tried rev 2835 with my 1060 just to see if a powefull graphics card can help but stuttering is still important.

++

Thanks.. I still do not understand exactly why the 2835 behaves like it does, but it does not really matter in the end..

Interesting. I "only" have a GTX660 and using vsync 1 in exclusive fullscreen mode. Never ever saw any stuttering. It's always butter smooth. No matter what table I load.

I don't use vsync1 I don't notice any issues. Should I set vsync1 to 1?
