I think mukuste did some optimization to the physmod for primitives

Uaaaahhh. What's happening?
VP just slowed down - huge input lag, almost no response.
Sorry I don't want to abuse this thread, but maybe it is related.

I was having a great time with Bop after I got the head fixed with physmod5. Using 990a now. After a while I thought I try physmod5 and see how it plays. Then the table got super slow, almost no reaction to input presses. Unplayable. When I switched back to 990a the same, also with 990. Checked with other tables and it's also unplayable now (Indiana, getaway). What the hell happened?
I restarted the whole pc, but no improvement.
Panic! I was hoping for a great pinball weekend.

table is not for pshycismod5 , every table that is not created for pshycismod5 (just try one its not only this table)  will run slow because its not made for it ..

85vet is working on the physics mod 5 for this table. He owns one so it should be nice. I have a feeling that using all these eye's with their shared registry is probably messing with vp.
When I tried to mod the table for the new physics the head animated really fast but everything else was slow. I can't remember how I fixed it.

This is such a strange issue I don't even know what to tell people.

I guess I'll throw the table in my cabinet and see how it does there

Thanks for investigating uw.
After messing around with almost everything I got 990a work again as it should. Phew.
But sadly in bop the head issue (human flesh head always showing) returned and now even the pm5 trick won't work any more. :-P

After install the last update ... Same for me... the head no longer turns during play only during calibration... Tried all of the above.    :wimper:    Going to reinstall prior version.

Update:   Tried older version same thing..    reinstalled new version.. same thing.    ran it in phys5 again.    Fixed it.   Weird.

Great table release the head is super smooth for me and worked the first time with no added tweaking needed.
THIS IS FREAKING AMAZING ... My wife and I love it very much ... the gear motor is timed perfect with the updated configuration from the DOF tool and it makes it seem so real .... thank you UW ... and all involved.
I think I am going to stick with the first release and not mess up my faces.

Today's test.

Ran with VP990 - Face not working (turns on calibration)

Replaced NVRAM with one above, all worked swimmingly

Changed to VP990a - Face stopped working

Replaced NVRAM with one above, all worked swimmingly

Changed Graphics setting in NVIDIA control panel

Oh dear.  No calibration or in game face turning. - I had turned off Anisotropic filter, FXAA, Gamma Correction and antialasing mode to off.

Turned Antialiasing to app controlled - lighting all went GI bright and the face started working in calibration, but not game??????

Replaced NVRAM with one above, all worked swimmingly

Hmm

Thanks a lot for the update of this table! :)

Phantastic work.

It has always been one of my favorites in real live and now the VP version is get pretty close to the real thing.
