Table may have VPM set to hide if in desktop mode
You may have to over ride that if you want it showing

On ROM table go to the table init section
Look for 

.Hidden = 

 

and what ever it says, like
Hidden = Desktop
 

change that to

 

.Hidden = 0

And it will show the VPM DMD no matter what

Hey! Just a friendly inquiry about this Tom and Jerry VPX table! I can get the B2S Backglass, and the regular DMD Rom to prompt just fine, the table is readable in the vpx editor. Every time I try to play the table a message reads "unable to create texture...", and the program closes.

 

Can anyone help me out with getting this table to run correctly, or about what that message is about? Are there any other versions of this table available?

Not sure this will help you, as usually all tables will show that error if this is your problem.

Go into Preferences...Video/Graphics Options..and in lower right you will see Max Texture Dimension.

Try unchecking "Unlimited", and checking anything but "Unlimited", and see if that helps get rid of error.

I think I got this same error on my older computer, and this is what I did to get rid of it.

der Tisch ist mal richtig gut!

aber ich habe ein kleines Problem damit.

 

wenn ich den Tisch starte bekomme ich die Fehlermeldung: Pin 2 DMD  not found 

wenn ich das dann wegklicke ist der Tisch ganz normal zu spielen.

 

ich habe knapp 70 Tische drauf die alle ordentlich laufen.

ach so: selbstgebautes Cabinet mit 2 Monitoren - Pinball Y

the table is really good!
but i have a little problem with it.

At a guess, i would say that you have the ROM set to use external DLL
(Hit F1 with table not in exclusive full screen mode to check that)
you do not want that checked for tom and jerry as it does not use a DMD display.

Also, it sounds as if your dmddevice.ini has pin 2 dmd enabled

and if you do not have a pin 2 dmd display, you do not want that enabled or it will try to load it

es war wirklich nur der eine Hacken bei Use external DMD falsch gesetzt.

Strikes N Spares is an exception out of necessity
Not because of performance, but because the table uses 2 DMD screens in real life, which Vpinmame can do, but freezy's can not.

Can someone help me with this table? I can't figure out why (after starting) the playfield is not showing, then the visual pinball editor quits and only backglass without dmd is displayed. Sounds like a VPX issue, I don't think a rom would crash it in a way that affected the display.  What version are you using?  "tomjerry" on vpm 3.3, VPX 10.6.2 and 10.7 192 both work for me.

 

And other tables work fine, so not a pc problem, yeah?
