Well, gentlemen, if any of you volunteer to make a new B2S for this table, here are the pictures I have: https://bit.ly/3m5RTko

Feel free to use them. ;)

It's impossible only if you believe so. ;)

Space Poker (LTD do Brasil)

Back glass is clean looking. I don't know why we still using the cracked back glass. lol

I guess you mean the backdrop of the desktop version :) Yes it is cracked, I like that one, it is dark with good illumination, and cracked and old  :) But it is very easy to make a new one

Edit: I think batch had made a nice backdrop for the desktop version.

I have added a "cleaner" backdrop for the desktop view and uploaded the table as 3.0.1 :)

I like the crackled backglass.
If no table changes, i will stick with 3.0

I wonder if you happen to have a non backdrop sectioned copy of that i could use for the B2S?

Call it silly but i like good scans of worn or aged backglasses
it seems more real unless it's a 5 year old table or something

If you were used every day since 1980, you'd have a lot of cracks and wear too.

I like age on vintage playfields, as long as the age is of decent resolution of course.

Makes it feel more real, less virtual

I seem to remember that earlier incarnations (VP9) of this table had the same problem like this VPX one: namely, that the pop bumpers don't score and the top A, K, Q, J lights behave erratically when the ball rolls over them. Also, they don't switch with the push of the flipper buttons. In addition, someone already mentioned that coining up and starting a game is a little, ahem, temperamental...
There can be other things too, I'm not sure since it was very long ago when i played the real table.

I also remember that somehow, the same problems were not happening with the VP9 version when a UVP backglass was used. Only when dB2S was activated did the thing start acting up.

Did anyone else notice the same issues?

I have the same problem. Can hardly get the game to start and if I do, the light of the king the ball rolls through is either getting lit, or not, or later, and if it is lit, it only moves like after 6 flips or something. No difference between the l6 and b6 rom. Anyone solved this?

I played around with this today and found that this is not related to using B2S after all (which was strange to begin with). I disabled B2S and used just the vpinmame window and it still behaved the same.
The alpok_l6 and even alpok_l2 ROMs work fine as far as coining up, game start, scoring and top rollover light switch with flippers - but have a problem with ball handling.
l6 gives you two balls in the shooter lane - upon coining up!
l2 only gives you one.

Then, both of them do not sense a ball drain. So both are pretty much useless.

The b6 ROM has the scoring and rollover issues, but at least handles the balls OK. Sometimes it shows inexplicable delays though. Also, starting a game is a pain, you need to long-press the button to eventually register.

It seems the nvram files also have something to do with the whole behavior... does anyone have a ROM and nvram file (set) that works properly in all regards with this table?

htamas : All my roms Alien Poker (not tested multiball) work as I expect them to. The default coin-in gives me a huge amount of credits though, but, I'm sure I can figure that out if I needed to. My roms do validate. Have you checked yours ? I've been saying this for years. Just downloading a rom from somewhere doesn't mean it is correct. You should really treat your rom collection with the same love as the tables.

From now on. I won't help anyone here at VPF. Please ask Noah why that is.

I downloaded (and even re-downloaded) the ROMs from here. Yes, I validated them.

I didn't even mention the large number of credits with l6 and l2, because that doesn't bother me at all.
Would you mind posting your NVRAM files if the table works for you without the mentioned problems? I wonder if using them fixes the issues me (and apparently others) have.

Thanks... unfortunately, this didn't help. The same problems are still present.

The table is possessed (for me anyway), LOL

Sure, but, if you have one that is working like you want. Why don't you just copy that one to the other ? I cleared mine, I change the default coin to give me only 2 credits when pressing 5 which is my default coin-in. My nvrams isn't very interesting in that they are currently all generated from a clean rom and then adjusting 19 to a value of 02 or was it 07 ? Can't remember. That gave me a reasonable amount of credits.

Thanks Thalamus, but your nvram files didn't make a difference for me either, so then we can conclude that the problems are not due to nvram settings.

I'm at a loss why do I (and apparently jammit as well) have all those problems, and how come the table works OK for you guys.

As for copying one nvram to the other: I don't have any ROM that works correctly, that is the issue. b6 is the only one that lets me at least play, with the mentioned problems.

Oh well.

Right, it is very odd. This one gives me two balls in the shooter lane when coining up, and then doesn't know when the ball drains. It just waits, and doesn't give me a new ball.

Like I said, it's possessed  :D

OK, I re-downloaded the single ball table (3.0.1) and now it works OK. So somehow the table download was messed up.

Thanks for all help, folks.

which VPM are you using?

also, not sure if it would have an affect on your issue, but are your VPX scripts up to date?
And no scripts in tables folder?

Cross post.

See if redownloading the multiball table works also?

though i can not figure out how to set the multi ball to not give 50 cents on coin slot 1
just dont use coin slots 2 or 3, unless you want a ton of credits
