Yes, that's right, you may take advantage of a few things the other players have achieved. In the beginning I wrote the multiball as a physical lock, so you may use the locked balls other players have locked, but I changed that to a logical lock, where I simply count the locked balls. This way each player has each own locked balls.

I only changed this value:

attachicon.gif Capture.JPG

from a "hard space" to a simple dot, then theUltraDMD.DisplayScoreboard00 will work fine. I guess it is only in Scandinavia that there will be problems with that "hard space"

I have changed the settings like in the picture, but I still got that error. Any ideas how to solve that problem?

Thank you in advance and a happy new year.

Then just simply change the score routines, just find DisplayScoreboard00 and replace it with DisplayScoreboard. It is 15 lines after the line 1853.

This works. Thank you!

I actually like the scores better with DisplayScoreboard than with the newer DisplayScoreboard00 :)

UPDATE

1.2.2 Updated 02.01.2019
- Several DOF and sound fixes by arngrim
- Reverted back to the more compatible UltraDMD score display.
- Added missing sounds when entering the highscore

Thanks arngrim for adding some more DOF effects and adjusting the sounds for cabinet users.

I reverted to the original UltraDMD score display since it is more compatible with the number separators used in several Europen countries. But if you prefer the white comma separated numbers, then you simple find the word DisplayScoreboard and replace it with DisplayScoreboard00. As I said before, I like better the older numbers even if they are not separated with a . or a , :)

error_serioussam_122.png

This error happened to me for the very first time today. I must admit - I added this code to the table ( line 212 here if anyone else needs tilt bob to work) - but, I don't see how it can hurt.

 If keycode = MechanicalTilt Then Nudge 0, 4:PlaySound "fx_nudge",0,1,1,0,25:CheckTilt

Now I can tilt and I'm used to playing this a bit rough since it didn't have that available for me before. In this error case tried to save the last ball as it drained, so the dmd was in "tilt" when the game ended. I tried to re-produce but could not. Was however not the only game I tilted. I managed once to be rewarded for the tilt. At least that's what it looked like. Two balls got ejected to the troth and it looked like the table was kind of aware of it. Because it didn't "drain that ball" when I lost the very first one of the two.

This is so much fun.

JP and Arngrim, many thanks for catering to us us cab junkies and incorporating DOF on this table. Even though JP is mainly a desktop user he manages to include DOF commands and even collaborates with Arngrim to make sure all works well. I'm happy to report the latest version works great with DOF, Serious Sam now "feels" real when playing on the cab! Thank you guys!

Is there a working BG for this table, was the one shown earlier in the thread ever released?

Thank you

This is what I do

After you import or Delete something (or make a new one) make your changes then go up to Top where it says backglass, then click create B2S backglass file, then click on backglass preview and test...

Then another window will pop up where it gives you a chance to run the backglass and then you can decide where you want to save it

Any guidelines what to change in the settings if want to play the new 2.0 version on a cabinet?  It comes up all stretched for desktop.

You just need to export the POV file of the previous version. It fits perfectly for the new one. ;)

It's impossible only if you believe so. ;)

How do you move the scoring to the backglass monitor instead of having it on the playfield sine the updates dont use ultradmd any longer

You'll need some magic or make a directb2s :) So my suggestion is to play it like it is :)

UPDATE

3.0.0 Updated 23.05.2020
- adjusted images sizes and fonts to look better for flexdmd. Included a new flexdmd script.
- adjusted physics to my latest.

This version is mostly to test FlexDMD. The table still uses my DMD, so if you don't have FlexDMD the table will work fine. To use FlexDMD you need to copy the vbs file from the FlexDMD folder to the same folder as the table.
The only changes I made to the script was to change the size of the images to 128x32.

What I have done: I used a more squared font, and removed the extra dots on the images. I also changed the size of the images to a multiple of 128x32 size so they can resize better for FlexDMD. For desktop players the DMD will even look better with a more normal font :) I added an extra grid for the desktop DMD.
I'm not used to make images for 128x32, but I guess the fonts will be more readable now :)

The increase on the size is because I used the PNG files for the playfield an plastics, instead of JPG. They look a little better :)

Have a nice weekend!

After adding this line - because I've got a real tilt bob.

If keycode = MechanicalTilt Then CheckTilt

I haven't spent much time on this yet. But, I believe that there was a fix to change the case from upper to lower for "TILT" at one point.

Line 373, 379 ??

Should be fixed in the flexdmd upstream code, but, last I checked it was still on 0.5beta without the fix.
