I'm having a little bit of problems launching the table. Can someone point me in the right direction? I get the following script msg:

Line: 255

Variable is undefined: 'DOFFlippers'

(and in the script):

PlaySound SoundFXDOF("fx_flipperdown",101,DOFOff,DOFFlippers), 0, 1, -0.05, 0.15

I don't know what DOF is... if it has anything to do with mechanical sounds for flippers and stuff, then I don't have it. I just have a simple setup in a cabinet.

I'm getting this same error. Let me know if you can get it to start working!

Had the same error for this table the other day.  I knew I needed the new controller.vbs but decided just to go with 10.2 beta and all the scripts.  Now working perfectly with DOF too!

check your settings in preferences, audio options, choose main system, and with vpx 10.2, keys nudge and dof, choose both for all dof controller options, published script is fine, for desktop, fs, dof or not dof, b2s or not b2s ;)

Thanks and problem solved, I changed all controller options to both.

Thanks again Oompa for your suggestion. Downloaded the latest 10.2 and it did fix my issue!

I got it to load adding the files from 10.2, but none of my cabinet buttons work and neither do any of my DOF toys. I can play it fine with the keyboard. All my other VPX tables are working fine with the buttons and DOF. I have all of the controller settings set to both. Ideas?

I'm at a bit of a loss here.

Well, I just put the VBS files into the scripts folder and not the tables folder. Maybe I have conflicting files in my tables folder. I'll have to try that when I get home.

I've seen numerous posts about scripts. Some say only in the scripts folder...some say only tables folder. I tried deleting the scripts from the tables folder and I had all kinds of issues. I have them in both and gave had it that way for quite a while with no issues

I'll have to throw them into the tables folder too and see what happens when I get home.

they really should be just in the scripts folder
make sure the vpinballx.exe you are using to run the table is in the same folder as the "scripts folder"
also VP doesnt care where you keep your tables, because once its loaded it becomes local to the editor (if that makes any sense)

should look something like this

I got it working now... although I'm not entirely sure what I did. Like someone posted before me, I have script files in my tables folder and some in my actual scripts folder. I sometimes add scripts to the tables when I get an error message saying that there is no script in the tables folder. This is rare and I honestly can't remember which tables they came up for. I'm hoping me transferring some script files doesn't affect my other tables. I guess I'll find out.

Strange! Tried it on my main computer aswell, same error as my cabinet, and same sulution.  When i copied the controller.vps and started the table i got this message the first time:

VBScript

"The latest version of Controller.vbs stores the values in the registry. To adjust the values, you must use VP 10.2, and go to the Controller Menu on the Preferences Tab of the VP editor."

When i tried deleting all vbs files from the table folder, it still works. Now I only have the vbs files in the scripts folder. Works great.

heres a small mod I did for FS users.... since the DMD has to be on the main screen I thought i would give it a place to site
so I added a cartoony billboard for it to sit on.... and some brick arches for the ball to pass through....

this is for the stock Back drop settings

its an easy mod, just replace the pokemon-center.png in the image manager with this one >>>>Attached File  pokemon-center.png   340.42KB   20 downloads<<<<<<

Looks great! Thank you.
Really like this table kids and I are having a blast! One question when a player captures a pokemon and then their turn is over the pokedex shows 0 caught when ts their turn again. Should this be happening. Sorry not familiar with the rule set.

Also besides the rule set question I had tis error when playing last night. Not sure what the ball hit that caused it. f6f5e7e9f80c82288fc9724a1b87f80c.jpg414e671aec61b978ee1b504877e4e5d0.jpg

The DMD only shows the number of Pokémon caught with the current ball.

No idea about this error. It is the attract sequence.

Thanks haunfreaks! :)

And about the scripts: there is no reason to have the scripts in the tables folder. 10 years ago some tables needed that, but it was easily fix changing one line in the script of those tables (and they were just a few). to make things easy: delete all the scripts from the table folders and keep them in the Scripts folder. This way you may sort your tables in different folders, like older VP, VP9, VP99, VPX, originals, or sorted by date, or by author.
