Also, here's a couple clips from pinball 101 that should be useful to see it more clearly and also with some slow-motion
and especially big thanks JP for improving what was already my favourite VP table.
amazing.
(and for those intrigued by that video and gameplay, pinball 101 has some cool technical tips and great footage – my unaffiliated and unsolicited plug for it)

I start to wonder if it is a bug in the rom, since I can't find anything wrong with the script or the table.
If you have this multiball error then try using another rom. In the line 45 you'll see this line:
Const cGameName = "afm_113b"
Try changing the afm_113b with any of the other roms: afm_10, afm_11 or afm_113. I don't know if there are more roms, but those are the ones I have tried

This has fast become one of my favorites, never had the chance to play it in the "flesh" though, shame ;p
It has everything I like, humor, ramps, and great artwork/action.
I did find a weird glitch however,I had the martian attack going and during that, got the 3 lock multiball. Then with both the multiball and the martian attack going, I then got the martian multiball, and I lost track of how many balls were then launched, I'd guess all of them. While really fun, it seemed to confuse the table, and after all but one of the balls drained, the flippers stopped working, then the last ball drained and then I launched the last ball of the game, only to have the table proceed to fire off 2-3 more balls. These drained like before, and I started a new game, the first ball kicked out, then 2 more before I could even launch the first.
Otherwise, beyond awesome ;p

If the ball count ever gets confused like that again, you can press B and select to remove a ball from the trough, which should correct it again.
Thanks for the info

I've been a fan of this table for a long time and I have played older versions of your Attack from Mars with no problem. However, with this 2.3.1 version, I am experiencing the same symptoms as this post. I'll try to find an old zip for the time being.

I'm working on a fix for this problem, and this weekend I'll post a test table to see if the problem is fixed.

I'm taking a 2 days break from Scarface to fix this AFM problem/bug. I think I have found the problem, but I'm not sure. I'll test the table a little more and tomorrow I'll release the 2.4 version, which will need VP914+ and it will need HR on.
If your card can't handle HR then just go and get one! You don't know what you are missng!. The newest Ati are quite cheap and they work quite well. I have testet the table with a 512Mb Ati Radeon HD 5450 and it works very well.
Here it is a screenshot with all the flashers on, just to get your mouth wet ![]()
